    is that aerospoke on backwards?

    • brad says:

      backward? aren’t wheels round?

      • ericspoke says:

you have apparently never owned a carbon wheel… or just don’t know what you’re talking about. The blunt side of the blade is supposed to spin forwards. I can’t see it that well in the picture, but it might be backwards…

Easy way to tell if an Aerospoke is on the right way (or not, as in this photo)

when the wheel is spinning, the valve stem should be trailing just behind the blade. there is a blunt side and a sharp side to each blade, like an airplane wing, and the blunt side is always hitting the wind first as the wheel spins.

yes the aerospoke is backwards. and no that sexy frame should NOT have risers. get some dropsss

  4. anonymous says:

the aerospoke is not on backwards. the risers look good on it. don’t hate! its not comfortable to ride on drops all the time.

I do recommend some cages and straps though. power grips aren’t a good look on that setup.
