Team Cinelli Chrome (Official Video).

Posted by: kris

If you follow even a sliver of urban track racing you’ll have heard of Team Cinelli Chrome. After popping on the scene in 2014 as one of the most experienced race teams they finished out the year strong hitting most of the major events. Along the way they took some trips, met some friends and ultimately got prepped for a killer new year. I really dig the Cinelli factory visit in here and the dialogue from the riders is pretty on point too! More on the crew over on Cinelli Chrome page!

“Seven riders, a year-long season, two wheels, one gear-ratio and an unique great passion!
Add a few thousands hours of training, tons of new friends, excitement and fun and the mix will be complete!

Check #TeamCinelliChrome video of an incredible 2014 racing-season spent travelling
and competing all over the world, now live on CinelliTV”

Mike Schmitt at the Gnarness.

Posted by: kris

With new projects on the horizon I spent the day cleaning up my desktop a bit to make way for more fun. This shot of Mike Schmitt at Harness the Gnarness a few weeks back was among a few photo/clips I saved from the axe. I’ve got a few more to post up this week but in the meantime keep up with Mike and the rest of the dudes on Turf Bikes!

The La Marqueta Chase.

Posted by: kris

A pretty good news bit here from Animal and the La Marqueta Chase alleycat in NYC. A handful of interviews with veterans like Austin Horse mixed with some proper race footage. Sometimes it’s refreshing to see a slightly different perspective and this one hits it on the head!

Back to School Alleycat.

Posted by: kris

Probably a pretty penny to get to Milano for this but it sure does look like a damn fun race. Seems rare for alleycats to look so proper these days so if you’re out that way get to it! More info here

Revolights Goldsprints Trippin’.

Posted by: kris

Back in October the crew at Revolights packed their box truck to the brim with bikes and hit the road. After a layover in Sacramento for the first of two Goldsprint events they were ready for the long haul up to Chrome PDX for the sequel. I was lucky enough to tag along for the festivities and came back with this little number from what was a damn fun trip filled with bikes and beers. Tune in to the friends at Revolights for more and keep an ear to the ground for more fun coming soon…

Harness the Gnarness (Teaser).

Posted by: kris

A couple weeks back a mob of kids took to the streets of Oakland for Ed Wonka’s “Harness the Gnarness“. A handful of killer street spots dotted around Lake Merritt made for the perfect jam setup. I only grabbed some of the action so this is just a teaser of what’s headed to the Wheel Talk dudes for the real deal…more this week!

Barcelona Red Hook Criterium N°2 : The Documentary.

Posted by: kris

This is one hell of a look into the second stop of the Red Hook series in Barcelona. A pretty long one at about 15 minutes but a definitely a good peek at what’s become one of the biggest criterium events year after year. It’s pretty soggy here in California and this is a prefect way to drown out the rain for a few…
