Harness the Gnarness (Teaser).

Posted by: kris

A couple weeks back a mob of kids took to the streets of Oakland for Ed Wonka’s “Harness the Gnarness“. A handful of killer street spots dotted around Lake Merritt made for the perfect jam setup. I only grabbed some of the action so this is just a teaser of what’s headed to the Wheel Talk dudes for the real deal…more this week!

NS Analog.

Posted by: kris

Once upon a time NS Bikes made a fixed freestyle frame that rode a tad bit more like a track bike. Fast forward a few years and the NS Analog is looking prime as a city machine that can take a bit of a beating. Follow the brands sales dude Piotr Jurczak as he makes his way through Gdansk to the NS headquarters. Looks like a pretty damn killer commute!

Hold Fast Welcomes Matt Spencer.

Posted by: kris

Nothing short or awesomeness from Matt Spencer and this welcome to Hold Fast. Starting it off with a crazy slider in the desert and finishing off with a proper toboggan gap and a few other goodies. Arizona looks to be treating him well…this move should too!

Harness the Gnarness…

Posted by: kris

Spent the day riding around Oakland today for Wonka;’s Harness the Gnarness jam. A pretty decent turnout with at least 50 fixed freestyle bikes rolling from spot to spot. Here’s a tease of my dude Daniel Torres shooting a pegless double at a few dudes caught in the way. Here’s a couple quick photos and video screens I snagged…more manana.

#ENDfgfs 2nd Film | 2014 Team Issue.

A good mix of styles in this new freestyle bit from the SFG crew down in Korea. It’s rare to see full team edits like this and these dudes deliver.

My Life Is Back On Track/Trick Online Event!

Recently my homie Oliver from Demarcolab hosted a great online video contest for people showing their tricks on track bikes or FGFs in 15 to 30 seconds. Tricks are almost gone in Taiwan for fixie new generation and it’s time to get it back!! Today let’s see the rider 賈修 from local bike shop Proud Cat! That’s how you should open a beer…

Wolfdrawn: Not a Street Edit.

Posted by: kris

Always stoked on some fresh freestyle clips from Matt Spencer and this park edit is too clutch. A lot of the Southern California heads in the mix with more than enough sick clips. Pretty sure the that sphere ride at 3:12 is my favorite from the bunch…too wild.

The East : Tom La Marche.

DAMN. Up working late but had to take a sec to share this one from Tom Briggs sent through over the weekend. He chopped up some footage ol’ 2012 footage from none other than Tom Lamarche. Some fucking killer stuff in this old or not and definitely worth a few clicks. I guess I need to be peep the Facebook more so I don’t keep missing the goods…

11 Questions: Zane Meyer and Bangkok Bound!

Posted by: kris

If there’s one dude that’s been at the forefront of fixed freestyle media the past few years it’d have to be Zane Meyer. With his resume spanning an array of video projects I was pumped when he hit me up about his most recent one. After pulling together an epic trip to Bangkok last year he’ll be traveling back and beyond to show his new film Bangkok Bound. I checked in with him last week for a few questions on the project and what’s new in his world…click through for the full read!

1. I got a chance to peep the rough cut of Bangkok Bound and it looks like one hell of a trip. Definitely a wild scene out there and  you had the perfect crew to keep things fun.  What should people expect from this little travel flick?

This edit was a lot fun to put together. Like all my edits, It’s definitely music driven and shows a good amount of “Lifestyle/True Reality. My music choice in this is more psychedelic then what people are used to. Also captured some priceless moments like Steven jumping over a security’s scooter while the security guard was sleeping. Obviously Combs being Combs and having the locals messing around.
