Dailymobile 11/7: Massive Sacto #spotlurkin.

Posted by: kris

I haven’t done a mobile post in a while most likely due to instagram pretty much being a collection of those types of photos. However since I dont have a feed of that yall miss out on the spots and some of the goodies I come across. Here’s a gallery of #spotlurkin flicks from around Sac. First time I’ve used a gallery so hopefully it works alright. Also, I’ll be having a vote or something on which spots should be used for the trick jam here next month so be on the lookout for that.

Spot Checkin’: Around the Courthouse.

Posted by: kris

I haven’t done one of these posts in a while but you can expect a whole lot more of them to be coming. Lately I’ve been out riding a ton trying to get an edit together. With that comes hitting a bunch of different spots in the Sac area. I’ll start upping more flicks so yall can see that there is some stuff to actually ride here. These ones aren’t the goods but still some fun little spots just about a block from the courthouse downtown…there’s a ton more I’ll post up too.

Little nose bonker/hop over/foot planter do daddy…

Some of the smoothest yet most weird rails ever…

Spot Checkin’: 28th and B.

Posted by: kris

I started this series ages ago only to do one post. Let’s change that…

Chances are if you’re from Sac or have ever spent a good amount of time here on a bike or skateboard you’ve been the The B. Sac is laid out in a real nice grid so the name of the park, if it wasn’t obvious, is the streets the park is located on…well B street doenst really exist where the park is but if it did thats what itd be on. Haha. Anywho, riding this park on a bike is usually a no go unless you go with someone special or ummm…find other ways of making it happen ;) . I rolled with Schmitt and my buddy Anthony here this past Saturday and snapped a couple flicks. Not everything is pictured but you can see how big the place is. We got some clips going into an edit here soon so you’ll be able to get a better idea of what inside soon. Plenty of boxes and rails of different sizes and shapes, a bowl, huge quarters, mini and full size halfs, fun boxes, spinesm hips, jersey barriers and a real nice wallride make for a super fun spot. If you’re in town check it.

Note: I didn’t initially take these photos for this reason so there is a good thirty feet to the left of the first photo that you cant see. Huge quarters, a spine and a bank are out of the picture.

Spot Checkin’.

Posted by: kris

Im thinking this will turn into one of those things that i start doing regularly…and end up forgetting about. Giving it a shot anyhow ha. Ill post mostly sacramento spots and stuff i see when traveling or whatever, Buuuut if you want to shoot a photo of one of your favorite spots (that you dont mind people knowing about of course) to kris@lockedcog.com ill stick it up! Im thinking of putting up google map shots of the spots but i dont know that i want to blow anything up…so for now ill keep it at photos.

This is one of the more mellow spots in sacramento. Just outside of downtown and off the bike trail, a perfect place for a little sesh or a stop to enjoy a brew. Just the two little banks you see but fun none the less. Photo snagged from Glenn.
