Glenn’s Low.

Posted by: kris

I’ve been meaning to snap some photos of Glenn‘s Low since I saw it in pieces on instagram quite a while ago. After riding together countless times (as in I definitely can’t remember) we finaally managed to make it happen. He knows how to build a bike right and put this bad boy together perfectly top to bottom. FSA carbons driving a nice set of Ellipses and a real comfy looking cockpit. That saddle roll takes the cake as my favorite piece though…click through for a few more!

Darrin’s Orbea Track.

Posted by: kris

Darrin’s had this ride for some time now and I’ve drooled over for almost as long. Be it how rarely you see one or features like that headtube bridge there’s just something about Orbea builds you have to like. His has a bit of a story along with a nice cache of parts to keep it dialed in. Those Reynolds’ carbon clinchers are too damn sweet. Click through for a little gallery…

Robbie’s 1975(ish) Gitane Track.

Posted by: kris

When you own a bike shop you’re bound to come across some deals too good to pass up. Robbie’s of Pedal Hard seems to have a bunch of these…always finding cool track stuff for awesome deals. He recently picked up this vintage Gitane track from a dude who raced it in the 80′s. A nice come up and and even better build with the parts he threw on…click through for a little gallery. It’s sweet…

My Uknown SL1.

Posted by: kris

It’s been some time since I’ve had a track bike built up proper with some nice parts. Late last year I got to talking with Vinny at Unknown and had this SL1 build in process. Months later after gathering parts to keep it legit it’s finally dialed in. Got some sweet deals on the 75′s, wheel build and other parts thanks to Robbie at Pedal Hard. Definitely rides like a dream and is now the go to for those long rides and  busy days at work. Full gallery after the jump!

Mighty Steed’s: Angel’s ’11 Cinelli Vigorelli.

Posted by: kris

Was pretty stoked to see Angel swapped his Super Pista for this 2011 Vigorelli. Still one of my my favorite color scheme’s with the black/yellow/red combo. Set up real nice with Thompson bits and some 75′s to move those Ellipses. His daily ride as a messenger here in Sac and a damn nice one. Gallery after the jump!

Mighty Steeds: Greg’s Cannondale Capo.

Posted by: kris

Bringing back the Mighty Steed series for a few more messenger photo sets. Been a while which means a few new dudes working in town like Greg here. He’s got a few different bike (duh) but I caught up with him yesterday on his Cannondale Capo. Rad bike built up proper from the Pr1mato hubs to the Super Toughness chain. Click through for the whole set!

Jordan Yee’s ’05 Bianchi Pista Concept.

Posted by: kris

Between the messenger dudes and the Pedal Hard crew there’s enough rad track whips in Sac to keep you drooling for a bit. Jordan comes from the latter and his 2005 Pista Concept is as dope as they come. A mix of Thompson and Dura Ace bits with 75′s down low. Solid build no doubt! Crazy to think that this thing is almost a decade old. Click through for a bunch more flicks and hit the flickr for the full size.

Alex Gonzalez BB17 Karma.

Posted by: kris

While the homie Alex was up here for the Do You Even race I snapped a few photos of his new BB17 build. First time I’ve seen one of these Karmas built up in person and it looked real awesome. Built up with Omniums and Thompson bit among some other gems. Alex already swapped out the wheels on this for a set of BreakBrake track hubs built up to Archetypes. A fast bike for a fast dude no doubt. Click through for a little gallery or here for big images.

Shawn Remy’s Stanridge Speed MKII.

Posted by: kris

Met up with Shawn Remy yesterday to shoot his awesome new Stanridge Speed track setup. He wasn’t quite finished putting the beast together so this is more of a preview as we’re going to get some proper daylight shots today. Anywho, Shawn’s been eagerly waiting his  custom MKII since before the start of summer. Understandable when you’re getting the first bike of it’s kind plus a few little personal extras. Hand built in Columbus Ohio this looks fucking amazing with its NJS inspired flecked paint and reverse decal for that added touch. He went went all in on this buying everything new from Dura Ace hubs to fresh Omniums. Worth noting that the Columbus 2014 tubing used on this is the first to have the accompanying “Ohio” added to the brand sticker. Pretty rad. A low res gallery after the click and the full size set is right here…plus another set on its way!

Thanks to Shawn for linking up and Robbie at Pedal Hard for busting his ass last night to get this thing rolling.

Boothby’s All Day SE Primetime.

Posted by: kris

Caught a set of Boothby and his ride while down at Summer Fix a couple weekends back. SE still offers the Primetime so its no surprise that Josh may still be riding around on the model named after him. Unknown top load looks sick and Thickslicks front and back keep it rolling smooth. Full gallery after the jump.
