Sierra’s BreakBrake17 Transfer.

Posted by: kris

It’s not often you see the BB17 Transfer rolling around in this colorway so after seeing this one I had to snag a few. My buddy Nate built this up for his girl Sierra and It’s definitely nicer than some of my past bikes. OmniZen is always a good choice and I’ll never get over this flat grey/gloss black paint…more after the click!

Nate’s 2007 Raleigh Rush Hour Pro.

Posted by: kris

Aside from hand built frames you don’t often see custom color rides that stray from the otherwise stock paint. Nate‘s green Rush Hour Pro is a prime example of the potential a touch personal flavor can add to a build. Despite getting this bad boy already in the mean green, it’d be hard to argue that 2007 never looked so good! We met up for a handful of photos yesterday that are after the click and be sure to check him on the regular for more…

Will’s Done Deal Polo.

Posted by: kris

As competition has gotten more serious so polo bikes have evolved into something far different than the track bikes with drops seen early on. Short court bike polo has led to a demand for more control, stronger parts and a generally more maneuverable rides. From custom disk brake forks to tighter geometries the bike polo bike of today is in a class all its own. Taking a closer look at Will’s ride on a recent night out here in Sacramento I had to grab a few photos of this beast. Made here in California by Jai of Done Deal this is easily one of the best bikes I’ve seen on the court!

Henry’s 2014 Histogram.

Posted by: kris

When it comes to nice track bikes there’s likely more Mash x Cinelli builds here in Sacramento than anything else. Henry just picked up this ’14 Histogram in what is probably my favorite colorway for these. He tossed on some Thompson goodies and finished it off proper with a Wound Up and 44RN ring. Definitely going big with the super wide flat bars on there but a mean street machine none the less! More after the click…

Maylee’s 2013 Vigarosa.

Posted by: kris

The pink/grey Vigorelli has become an urban track staple since dropping abck in 2013. My dude Angel built up this one up for his girl Maylee and this little beaut it’s definitely done up proper. Zen’s are a classic and the simple yet solid Dura Ace to Velocity shoes are bound to stay solid. Pop through for a few more from our trip down by the river earlier this week!

JeProx 2015 From Manila

Posted by: Chris Yang

Few weeks earlier around our bike expo, some homies from Cycle Project Store, Engine 11, also including Mike Martin of Mash SF, Jonas from Rad Race, and other homies WeFXD long way from Manila, dropped a visit to our cycle show and spent few days in our city! It’s always stoked to meet new friends and talked about our common passion about two wheels and this culture! Here my friend Y.C Tang also took some shots on this track frame of team Manila! They really had a great fun riding in the city in those few days and here gotta give them a shout out! JeProx 2015┬áby The Project, Manila Animal, and Team Manila! That downward sloping top tube┬ájust reminded me of KHS Aero Track 1993! See the build on Pedalroom too!

#featurefriday | Fabio’s Dodici Gara.

Posted by: kris

I’ve been wanting to get this going for a bit now and am excited to present the first #featurefriday with Fabio‘s Dodici Gara here. He rides this primo aluminum build on the streets Milan, Italy and beyond. The Omnilattice setup has become a staple and you can’t go wrong with some wide carbon risers to keep things comfy. Digging the winter backdrop he chose for these shots and can’t wait to keep this series going. Click through for a few more and feel free to drop me a line to have your bike featured for a #featurefriday!

Michael’s M-idea.

Posted by: kris

It’s not uncommon for people to pick up a second or third model of a frame when they were stoked on their first setup. However, it is pretty hard to do when you dealing with something as rare as the small Japanese label M-idea. This is Smither’s second go-around with the NJS brand and is by far my favorite of the two. He went above and beyond this time around snagging a matching 75/Zen combo to top everything off. The frame itself if gorgeous enough but as usual this kid knows how to put ‘em together. Click through for the full set and peep his last good idea here!

Greg’s Cannondale Capo.

Posted by: kris

Greg‘s had this Cannondale Capo sitting on ice for some time now and recently decided to bring her back to life. Using some proper parts from his last build this thing came out looking pretty clean. Can’t go wrong with some track bike staples and those HED to Spike wheels are too sick. Did something a little different with the time lapse this time around but there’s still a few photos after the click!
