Tom’s Cinelli Mash Histogram 2015

Posted by: Chris Yang

Few days earlier I finally had the chance to snap some shots on this beautiful Cinelli Mash Histogram 2015 of my friend Tom from Kendo Bike Shop again!!

There are only few Histogram 2015 framesets in Taiwan and proud to say this is one of the great builds with no doubt! Especially that Rotor crankset makes the whole bike look aggressive on the street! Some shiny green bar tapes to match the colors of the frame and some rad stickers such as Benny Gold, Nabiis, and God & Famous make it feel more street flavors! Good taste always comes from someone who really digs into the culture and track bike knowledge!

Jake’s Cinelli MASH Histogram.

Posted by: kris

It’s always rad when friends finish up something they’ve been dropping time and money into for a while. Typically it means hand picking the best of the best and Jake’s MASH build here definitely fits the bill. From the custom Mack hubs and wild lacing to the carbon ENVE front end (track fork included!) this thing is dripping with style. He had some time recovering from a turfed knee and spent it getting this Histogram as dialed as can be. After topping it off with blue Zen a couple days back he was finally ready to share. Went a little overboard on photos of this thin…but it is a purdy one. Much more after the click!

BROZ NRS Track Bike

Posted by: Chris Yang

Few days ago I snapped some shots on my friend Howard’s black beauty BROZ NRS from Bros Cycling Club. It’s a fresh, hot track frame just coming up on the market. NRS comes with aluminum frames, 7005-T6 triple butted. The frame is dedicated to velodrome racing, so is the geometry inspired by that! A pretty rad frame for riders to sprint both on street and velodrome. Bros Cycling also doesn’t forget the street feeling of fixed gear bikes. “No Rules” simply demonstrates their spirits and attitude toward fixed gear bikes. Proud to see and do the post for this great frame!

More info could be seen on their webpage

Ian’s Vivalo Special NJS.

Posted by: kris

Every now and then I get to snap a photos of a ride that’s a little more rare than usual. With its custom paint and a slew of NJS goodies to keep it legit Ian’s Vivalo easily fits the bill. Word is this was likely a prize awarded for a race win rather than something that actually saw the track making it that much more awesome. The colors on this are definitely what do it for me but  the “signed” seat stays and Five Gold saddle are right about there as well. Click through for a handful of images!

MOMO’s A2 From Nabiis

Posted by: Chris Yang

Proud to do the first post of Taiwan for Lockedcog! Here introducing a little bit about my homie MOMO (The second place of KOZ mountain climbing race few months earlier) and his stoked bike A2 from NABIIS with the stickerbomb style that I always love it!! He’s probably one of the few riders in Taiwan who can easily conquer many steep hills with his track bike! Off the bike, he’s becoming a talented photographer as well! I am proud to have him on the team and on this first post! Check some great photos on his Instagram!

Simon’s Pinky LOW.

Posted by: kris

Last week I linked up with yet another spicy LOW owner here in Sac for a few beers and some photos. My buddy Brandon filled me in on Simon‘s pink on raw build I just had to see. With fall upon us we raced the daylight to grab a couple shots at the corner store before bouncing out to the spot! Got a nice set of ENVE goodies on there to make you drool and you can never go wrong rolling on Phils and Omniums. A few after the click…

Tall Gary’s 2010 Cannondale Capo.

Posted by: kris

A handful of years back when urban cycling first started taking hold in Sacramento I met Tall Gary. He came out to most of the Effin’ Friday rides, rocked it on the polo court and was always down for a little cruise. He’s still spends most of his freetime when not poking holes in people out and about though his perhaps a step up from his Leader of yore. One look at Gary’s bike and you don’t have to think much on the origins of his nickname. Dude’s got some height on just about everyone and a sweet Cannondale Capo to match. Finished off with some nice Thompson bits to keep it murdered…aside from the necessary stickers job. Click through for a few more!

Smither’s Affinity Lo Pro.

Posted by: kris

Anytime I get a message from Michael I know he’s got to have something new cruise around on. Today it was this super clean Affinity Lo Pro build he just put the finished up a la carbon Reynolds track wheels. Had a few minutes to spare so I swung by Pedal Hard and we snuck in a few photos. Fun fact: some of the art on the surrounding wall is done by none other than Robert from PH. Click through for a few others and stay tuned ’til Smithers swoops up something else proper!
