Back when I first picked up a track bike and was consumed by it these dudes were the ones to watch. Long time shredders with the MASH crew this one is a treat as it was a supplement to the initial release….and likely my favorite to come from the collection…Walton’s sparks are too great!
There are few things I enjoy as much as cycling and urban exploration is easily right there with it. On their Japan adventure back in May The Roosters took to the dilapidated ruins of Nara’s Dreamland theme park for a few laps in the past. Built in 1961 the park has been closed since ’06 and slowly deteriorating into the perfect glimpse into days gone by. A great stop on what had to be a trip for the books…more from The Roosters here!
Returning to take on another season of rain and wind is the God & Famous Smoke Shell 2. Updated with Paincave graphics, a new white colorway and reflective logo this bad boy improves on what was already a great winter piece. Keeping everything that made the original great and giving you a bit more for your money this bad boy can be grabbed right here. Click through for more and peep the quick bit from Stay Alive featuring Kenny Kim taking the white shell for a spin in NYC!
Now about a decade old the Louis Garneau Pursuit frames are a a bit of a rarity out on the streets. Adam picked this one up a few months back and has been abusing it as much as possible from Mission Crit to tricks here in Sac. Having worked in a shop with Adam some years back I’ve seen his addiction to cycling grow to an appreciation for fine machines like this. A few more photos after the click and more to come from him here soon…
I’ve been knowing my Korean dude Jack for some time now and recently the dude is getting crazier on his ride! Changing from Cinelli Parallax to his new track machine Low Bicycles Track Standard, the color is the same as Massan’s Low. Speaking frankly, Low Bicycles may not be the best track frame or the most expensive frame in the world, however, it’s always fascinating and worth looking at! I guess people who love those kind of aggressive style and SF scene would dig into this masterpiece from Andrew! Stoked to see Jack bombing around Seoul!

Last few weeks I was proud to work with my friend’s brand Alter Cycles. Speaking frankly, it’s a hard work to work on my project and Alter project at the same time. But I’m really stoked to see my friend start building up the empire of Alter. This small video project is aimed to introduce the two new chainrings, SC and Mad Max series, coming out from Alter. With no doubt that Alter has made its name and reputation in foreign countries and I’m looking forward to the bright future of Alter Cycles. Big shout out to my homie Tim Huang again for riding out and David for being a great scooter rider.
If you need their awesome chainrings, swoop them here
No denying that track bike tricks are back but this is the best effort I’ve seen in some time. Constantine is bringing barspins and more with on featuring the OG Rally. Some serious style in here and that no front wheelie is too good…are we back in ’07? I dig!
Had a chance to meet up with Mario on some recent standby to snap a few quick ones of his hooked up Super Pista. Some nice carbon FSA bit with the bars and cranks and a Razor seatpost to finish off keeping his baby light and nimble. Worth noting that he laced the front crow’s foot pattern himself and some people aren’t fans it did come out real good. Definitely seems top tube pads are back in as of late and I can’t say I’m mad about it…click through for a few more!
