A new year means a whole new round of Friday night Bike Party here in Sacramento. Though it only comes once a month it’s always a good night out with all sorts of people on two (or more) wheels. Found this old one of Pat‘s Dosnoventa buried away from a ride last summer when the groups were big and the weather was hot. Looking forward to those warm nights and the chance to shoot some proper photos of this thing…
After a short hiatus the infamous G.O.A.T. mill is back up and running. Double butted and heat treated these bad boys are street tested and ready to take everything you can throw at them. It’s been some time since new G.O.A.T. Tracks were on the market so don’t sleep and check out what’s been brewing…
Engine 11 sent their formidable track team to Korea for the recent King of Track event. Keeping true to road trip style they saw the sights, hit the events and showed up ready for laps on race day. From the looks of it this was one trek to be remembered and an event well worth traveling to. Pop over to Engine 11 for more!
Now that we’re well into the new year I can’t help but be excited for the return of the North American Handmade Bicycle Show to Sacramento. It was here back in 2012 and was easily one of my favorite events ever attended. With plenty of people both builder and friends alike rolling into to the City of Trees it’s bound to be a blast. Stay tuned as the event draws near for more!

Greg and I had time today to meet up for a few quick photos in between runs. While he munched away on a burger I grabbed a few of his dialed Karma in yet another of the grimy Sacramento alleys. We didn’t have time for all the details so this is a bit of a teaser until the full dealio is ready!
If you love bikes as much as many of us chances are the walls in your apartment/house have at least a hint of cycling influence. The team at Volata just made it much easier to adorn your walls with some fine bike art with their limited cover print series. Taken from the covers of their very own magazine, these are inspired by some of the greats and great moments in cycling today. Not familiar with Volata? Take a look at the road and urban cycling themed publication here…then swoop one of these before they’re gone!
