Carney Breaks Collarbone.
Posted by: kris on Monday, March 15th, 2010 9:41 pmI dont care if youve seen this before, done this before or don care…this looks painful. I cringed a bit.
Mo’ Nasty.
Posted by: kris on Monday, March 15th, 2010 9:28 pmIn case you didnt get enough nasty…heres a sick flick from nb_log’s flickr. Seen on Pedal Consumption, im digging this 7 stair double. Looks like a solid spot!
Death Pedal Italy.
Posted by: kris on Monday, March 15th, 2010 8:47 pmCongo for VAGX.
Posted by: kris on Monday, March 15th, 2010 8:03 pmIts actually a bit weird doing tricks with bags on…feels like shits going to go flying! That makes this little sequence of Congo by Matt Lingo that much cooler. Matt always coming through with stellar shots.
Dolphin and Destroyer.
Posted by: kris on Monday, March 15th, 2010 7:39 pmSaw these over at Prolls earlier today…and was a bit intrigued (posting from a phone can get a bit annoying at times so some things must wait. ha.) The destroyer is looking pretty solid with the only thing worrying me being the drilled dropouts. A lot of people are running pegs these days on freestyle frames and it may pose a problem. Curved top tube on the Dolphin reminds me a bit of a cruiser but i could see it allowing you to slam your seat a bit lower if youre into that. Both of these are nice looking pieces overall…more on these at their home LSD Bikes.
The Los Angeles Marathon.
Posted by: kris on Monday, March 15th, 2010 7:12 pmPulled this from Maca…should be a solid event.
Death Pedal 2 Atlanta.
Posted by: kris on Monday, March 15th, 2010 6:55 pmThe only southeast showing of DP2 so get there if thats your spot!
Nasty for Wrahw.
Posted by: kris on Monday, March 15th, 2010 5:14 pmTorey sent me this bit of Nasty…got some good stuff in here! Really like that pedal grind/slide nose pivot thing.
Fast Pace 2.
Posted by: kris on Monday, March 15th, 2010 7:42 amPeople were talking about getting this issue down at the Downtown Showdown…and more will be available soon. The dudes at Fast Pace are doing a good thing and if this issue is as quality as the last one itll be worth a good look. Pulled the cover from Prolls though i feel like i saw it somewhere else too…
A Friday Session.
Posted by: kris on Sunday, March 21st, 2010 1:17 amTheres bound to be a bunch of people in town when there are events going on…looks like there was a nice turnout to the friday session in Taipei. Some familiar web faces and some gnarly bikes. More on the Demarcolab flickr.

Inside NAHBS 2010.
Posted by: kris on Friday, March 19th, 2010 4:07 pmA nice little peak inside the event…no tricks. just bikes (and shoes).
Bear Bikes: Freewheel Fixed.
Posted by: kris on Friday, March 19th, 2010 3:07 pmSo a good portion of this edit from Bears Bikes is fixed stuff…with a bunch of flatland influenced tricks. Though, toward the end noticed what looked like coasting just before the nice backpedal shot. Ha. People have been speculating when this might happen (its just a guy doing tricks on a single speed…i get it) but having an edit of the same guy on the same bike (that’s being marketed as a fixed gear) is what got me. Just thought it a bit funny…
The Creatvives: Ube’s Ice Cream Shop.
Posted by: kris on Friday, March 19th, 2010 2:30 pmHere it is…the full version of the trailer that i posted a couple days ago. Get a little insight into what goes down at Ube’s Ice Cream Shop. Im more of a hand can in the alley kind of guy…but his stuff is coming out looking professional. This looks to be an entertaining series so keep up on it!
Taipei Cycle Show 2010.
Posted by: kris on Friday, March 19th, 2010 2:09 pmSubcrew Fai posted a god amount of shots from this years Taipei Cycle Show going on now. Some wild, expensive, random and interesting bits on display. Check those Tange pieces…some crazy stuff in there. Found some info on Bear Bikes but couldnt find anything on Acradia, looks to be a competitively priced freestyle frame and a gorillaish frame. Lots of pricey carbon out there as per most bike shows…and Innes Brun! Anywho…theres a grip of shots on their flickr so peep it!

Posted by: kris on Tuesday, March 16th, 2010 4:18 pmMatthew Taylor did this piece for the A Beautiful Machine event in Bristol. From what im gathering this is going to be something pretty awesome. Art, auction, rides, talk…a festival of sorts. More info below and on the Beautiful Machine bloggg. Peep some of Matthew’s other stuff if you havent already…its quality.

Master-Piece Bags Spring/Summer.
Posted by: kris on Thursday, March 18th, 2010 1:49 pmLast month while enjoying me some Disneyland, i stopped by LA Brakelss to check it out. While out cruising the beach for a few we were approached by some gentlemen from Japan who wanted to take some shots of their bags. Weird day. Ha.
Sure enough, the photos were used in the Spring/Summer 2010 lookbook for Master-Piece bags. They have a real extensive line of stuff from bags to backpacks, keychains and fanny packs. Its all solid looking stuff made from some good materials (they have a listing at the end of the lookbook). I wouldnt mind getting my hands on a few things in there…

25c Randos at iMiNUSD.
Posted by: kris on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 10:43 pmiMiNUSD got in some of the new 25c randos everyone is talking about. Vittoria makes some of the most solid tires out there and this offering is sure to make a lot commuters, hill smashers and long riders happy.
Theyve even got some time in on them already and are felling them. Apparently these are a bit easier to get on than past Randos (ive spent too much time messing with these in the past) and are obviously quicker on the move. I guess the Gan Well is nice too.

Tyler Johnson.
Posted by: kris on Friday, March 19th, 2010 4:58 pmAnd you though he just killed shit on bikes? Tyler’s been posting links on twitter to some flicks by Sarah Rhoads…theyre pretty damn stellar. I think its way cool to see the stuff everyone does outside the bike scene…be it collecting Japanese Kaiju or shooting fashion photos. Good stuff man.
