Faster Than Yesterday recently sent over their uber comfy and aptly named “Debut” Merino pocket tees to give a go. New shirts in the rotation meant two of us checking out their fit both on the work bikes and after hours around town. Peep the quick rundown below on what we liked and be sure to stay tuned for a little collabo with Chris and Sav here soon!

The Debut has the perfect cut for a slim look that won’t disappoint as the days miles pile up. Where some wool can be a tad stiff, this bad boy comes with an anti-chafe rear collar and elastic overlock stitched collars to keep it moving as fast as you do.

When you’re going to be sweating all day but want to keep it casual, it doesn’t get better than Merino wool. Wearing a drenched cotton tee for eight hours is pretty bogus when you can have the breathability, stank resistance and wicking of almighty Merino. After just a day on the street the “Debut” delivered on all three with enough gusto to meet up for a few after-work beers.

Something about pocket tees gives them that slight upper-hand when you’re trying to keep it classy. Toss in the reflective front logo and you just might be looking good enough to avoid a head on with some foot traffic on the way to meet up with the homies. As for black the black Merino choice on these that’s obvious, it’s goes with just about everything including keeping up that metal look \m/.

    THAT’s A WRAP:

The Debut takes the pocket tee to the next level and is a perfect fit to both the casual and dedicated shredder alike. A good fit and attention to detail set it apart from other Merino tops and yet it slides into any collection seamlessly (see what we did there?!). Swoop one here and be sure to keep up with FTY for future releases!
