100 Copies: God Save the Bike.

Posted by: kris

New one from 100 Copies looks mighty nice with some inspiration from The Queen. Looks like the first 100 of the tire printed images have already been swooped up but there are a limited number of artists proofs available now…here!

Chrome Artist Series: NOA Yalta.

Posted by: kris

The compact Yalta has become a staple for the grab and go roll tops from Chrome. They recently enlisted the help of graffiti artist NOA to give the bag a facelift for a new Artist Series run. All eight of the super limited bags were cut from a single canvas inspired by the Japanese phrase meaning “Black Fog”. Pretty damn cool if you ask me! Promo video below and you can swoop one of the few of these right here.

Chrome x Ricky Powell.

Posted by: kris

One of the all time greats of street photography has teamed up with Chrome for one hell of a collabo. The Photobomb Messenger LTD is a take on the classic messenger but with a nice facelift made up of Ricky Powell images. Swoop it here!

100 Copies #22: Bicycle Mon Amour.

Posted by: kris

Newest from artist Thomas Yang and his 100 Copies collection. A pretty cool Eiffel Tower print this time around printed using tire tread and paint on paper. Only 100 of these so if you like feeling artsy swoop one right here before they’re gone.

Matt Lingo: Three Days in SF.

Posted by: kris

Matt just upped some stellar shots from a recent 3 days in SF. Some good snaps of Alonso Tal, Emi Brown and Dylan Pfohl crusing all around the city. Really into these two below…more or less just because they fucking  rule. So artsy…in the best way. More good here!

The Foot Down: Oh God Print.

Posted by: kris

I remember when these came out as a tee some time ago and now the “Oh God” graphic can be hanging on your wall. Ty at The Foot Down nailed it with this at the height of leg over skids and aero spokes…still just as good. Grab one right over here.

Terry Barensten: Transamerica.

Posted by: kris

Terry B with a “look down while you’re riding” photo at its best. A quick shot of the Transamerica building on his Macaframa Raleigh. . More rad shots from him on his flickr and on Full Frame. Dude kills it behind the lens.

Straight Gauge Studios: Bike Lights.

Posted by: kris

I try to get to as much “local” type stuff here in Sacramento. The GOOD Design Market has been up and running for a while now helping promote local artists, designers, boutiques and food trucks. I hit up the market this past weekend and aside from having a good time with friends I spotted these rad ass lights.

I’m sure plenty of you have made things from old broken bike parts but these were on another level. Straight Gauge Studios makes these bad boys from well used hubs, hoops and spokes. After getting some cool looking fixtures made they’re fitted up proper with light sockets and wires. The end result is below. Definitely getting a couple of these my spot. A gallery after the jump and more on their instagram!

Ucon x 8bar | The ‘federleicht’ bike collaboration.

Posted by: kris

A very cool video on the collaboration between Berlin companies Ucon and 8Bar bikes. A really well done bike that looks more like a work of art. Everything is in here from frame art by Toons to custom leather accessories to finish off the build. Finished product looks awesome and there’s a nice bit of riding at the end. Dig it.
