It’s not often you see the BB17 Transfer rolling around in this colorway so after seeing this one I had to snag a few. My buddy Nate built this up for his girl Sierra and It’s definitely nicer than some of my past bikes. OmniZen is always a good choice and I’ll never get over this flat grey/gloss black paint…more after the click!
It’s always great to see other friend’s bikes find new life in the hands of another. Greg picked up the Purple People Eater from Tyler a few weeks back and decked it out with some candy. Aside from the new dent on this BreakBrake17 Chase I’m digging the mix of new colors…
Been always digging the street build on a track bike and this time my man Norman demonstrated the real deal of street style! Breakbrake 17 Karma street build and style had been marked in evevryone’s heart since Alex bombing streets with that! Great to see the spirit is still alive! Homie got some good tastes choosing Factory 5 chainring, Velocity rims and a huge wide handlebar in order to have more stable controls on the street! And that Chub is damn awesome too…always enjoy this Karma build!
When you’re holding it down for a brand like BreakBrake17 you definitely want something fresh to to show off at the races. Tyler had his Chase prototype done up in a rad purple before tossing on a nice set of parts to finish it off. This one is easily a favorite of the rigs from recently so click through for a closer look!
Things have been a bit hectic over here but finally getting caught up on some fresh stuff. My dude Tyler recently had his BB17 Chase powder coated and built up proper for Wolfpack. Digging the deep purple on this bad boy and can’t wait to share the full set this weekend…stay tuned!
Last week I was so stoked to borrow this awesome new Karma 2015 build from Nest Burger restaurant and snap some shots on it!! The new version is definitely one of the hottest framestes in the market this year. Dark grey, low profile paint job with the shiny pink color makes 2015 Karma look even better than the old ones! Diggin’ that new head tube logo too! Also comes out with the gorgeous Factory 5 chainring, Deda drops, Thomson components……dope build for sure!!
Street style is always my favorite style and that’s why I always feel comfortable staying at Spun Studio for enjoying those rad builds and street style looking track bikes! This time spending some time on this famous Breakbrake 17 awesome Karma build filled with lots of hardcore street flavor! Riser bar and a damn huge Cadence Collection sticker always show that sense of feeling….and using Cadence bar tape as a protection on the frame! Madness~~some small details like Spike and Phil Wood seat clamp are just making this bike even greater! We love to see the full build of the upcoming new Karma!
A nice peek at the 2015 BreakBrake 17 Karma coming form none other than Father Tu. Have to say this is easily my favorite colorway the Karma has been offered in to date. Plenty more to drool over here while you wait for the official release!
After taking first at Saturday’s Red Bull Steep Crest the homie Alex Gonzalez was still kicking around the bay yesterday. He rolled around Oakland with us popping wheelies on his super clean BB17 Transfer. At the last spot of the day I snuck off with it for a few photos. A real street machine right here…
The fine people at Spike Parts want to see you shredding a new set of their track hubs! Team rider Alex Gonzalez is at the helm of the video contest that requires nothing more than you posting a fresh 15 second video. Multiple entries are okay and they want to see something creative so no half assing it! You have ’til November 7th so get to it and follow Alex & BB17 for more…
