Affinity Kissena.

Posted by: kris

NYC’s Affinity has been hard at work giving themselves a nice little update. A fresh website has hit the net which means their 2015 frames and handful of new build options are ready to be peeled over. Digging the new features up top and clean design as well…hit ‘em up for a closer look!

NS Analog.

Posted by: kris

Once upon a time NS Bikes made a fixed freestyle frame that rode a tad bit more like a track bike. Fast forward a few years and the NS Analog is looking prime as a city machine that can take a bit of a beating. Follow the brands sales dude Piotr Jurczak as he makes his way through Gdansk to the NS headquarters. Looks like a pretty damn killer commute!

Alex’s BB17 Transfer.

Posted by: kris

After taking first at Saturday’s Red Bull Steep Crest the homie Alex Gonzalez was still kicking around the bay yesterday. He rolled around Oakland with us popping wheelies on his super clean BB17 Transfer. At the last spot of the day I snuck off with it for a few photos. A real street machine right here…

Smither’s M-idea.

Posted by: kris

Friday was a pretty wild day for me but I managed to sneak in a few photos of the young buck Smither’s newest creation. This kid has gone through more bikes this year than most of us have owned yet they always end come out pretty damn proper. Not too often you see and M-idea on the street and this Ebay score came in looking like it came straight off a 90′s shop wall. Some proper track track parts plus a hell of a deal on the ZIPPs and he’s got one nutty NJS build. Click through for a handful more of this purdy thang….

Bombtrack 2015 Completes.

Posted by: kris

For some time now I’ve been working with the fine people at Bombtrack on getting their bikes out and about here in the states. With the 2015 line they’ve expanded far beyond their track and fixed freestyle roots to what is now a truly a versatile line of machines. They’ve expanded on their track roots to include rides like the cyclocross Hook and Arise while keeping it proper with the classic styled Needle track. New colors for their Script for an update and the new Oxbridge set of bikes for something a little more comfy as well. More in the coming months as things come together but rest assured that Bombtrack is coming. Peep the whole lookbook here and more on their official spot!

Ian’s Vivalo Special NJS.

Posted by: kris

Every now and then I get to snap a photos of a ride that’s a little more rare than usual. With its custom paint and a slew of NJS goodies to keep it legit Ian’s Vivalo easily fits the bill. Word is this was likely a prize awarded for a race win rather than something that actually saw the track making it that much more awesome. The colors on this are definitely what do it for me but  the “signed” seat stays and Five Gold saddle are right about there as well. Click through for a handful of images!

State Capitol.

Stopped by the Capitol for a quick photo on my way home yesterday. Even though I see this place all throughout the day working I rarely stop to really take a look…so I did.

Jeff’s Stanridge Speed.

Posted by: kris

It’s no secret that Adam of Stanridge Speed knows how to build a hell of a bike and this machine is no exception. Jeff G of the Pedal Hard crew built this beast up proper with goods like Mack Superlights and carbon track drops to keep it OG. After seeing this on a quick stop by PH a couple days back I had to go back for a few photos. Thanks again dudes…a handful more after the click!

Jeff’s Stanridge Speed…

Posted by: kris

After a sick day yesterday I was a bit behind today. Somehow I snuck in a few photos of this sweet Stanridge courtesy of Pedal Hard’s Jeff G. He ordered this back when Shawn and a few other team mates went in as a group. Anywho…I’m beat after a ton of work so more on this tomorrow!

upState.

Swapped out a few parts and added a bit of paint to my Black Label I got from State a bit back. This is the first time riding it sans the stock parts that came with it out of the box. Also the first time I realized the Essor fork on there was a full carbon build! Pretty pumped on how it’s riding now so a new photo set might be in order…
