Nate’s 2007 Raleigh Rush Hour Pro.

Posted by: kris

Aside from hand built frames you don’t often see custom color rides that stray from the otherwise stock paint. Nate‘s green Rush Hour Pro is a prime example of the potential a touch personal flavor can add to a build. Despite getting this bad boy already in the mean green, it’d be hard to argue that 2007 never looked so good! We met up for a handful of photos yesterday that are after the click and be sure to check him on the regular for more…

Will’s Done Deal Polo.

Posted by: kris

As competition has gotten more serious so polo bikes have evolved into something far different than the track bikes with drops seen early on. Short court bike polo has led to a demand for more control, stronger parts and a generally more maneuverable rides. From custom disk brake forks to tighter geometries the bike polo bike of today is in a class all its own. Taking a closer look at Will’s ride on a recent night out here in Sacramento I had to grab a few photos of this beast. Made here in California by Jai of Done Deal this is easily one of the best bikes I’ve seen on the court!

Trappin’ | Super (pana)Sonic.

Posted by: kris

Even with all the eye candy parked at Velo Trap this bronze Panasonic demands attention the moment you walk in. The bright orange is impossible to miss and as shiny as the day it first hit the track. One of the many NJS frames at the trap this is still one of my favorites if for nothing more than the color…

Trappin’ | That Samson Sparkle.

Posted by: kris

With a proper cache of vintage track and road bikes the newly revamped Velo Trap here in Sacramento has become the go-to for urban cycling. Though they stock or can order just about anything, it’s these rare NJS ¬†frames and other track goods that really help them stand out. Ill be popping by the next couple of weeks to share some of the jewels hanging in the shop and if you haven’t paid them a visit it would be well worth a peek! With a single flare fork crown and that green sparkle paint this Samson is just the tip of the iceberg…

Henry’s 2014 Histogram.

Posted by: kris

When it comes to nice track bikes there’s likely more Mash x Cinelli builds here in Sacramento than anything else. Henry just picked up this ’14 Histogram in what is probably my favorite colorway for these. He tossed on some Thompson goodies and finished it off proper with a Wound Up and 44RN ring. Definitely going big with the super wide flat bars on there but a mean street machine none the less! More after the click…

Recyle. Reduce. Reuse.

Posted by: kris

It’s always great to see other friend’s bikes find new life in the hands of another. Greg picked up the Purple People Eater from Tyler a few weeks back and decked it out with some candy. Aside from the new dent on this BreakBrake17 Chase I’m digging the mix of new colors…

Saadl | Carlo’s Skream Sprint V1.

Posted by: kris

A handful of rarities on this Skream Sprint that recently made it’s way onto Saadl. Hailing from Hong Kong, these Skream frames have been popping up all over built proper. Carlo’s here is rocking Rinpoch Hex cranks and Piston Wheels both of which are mostly unseen here stateside. Round it out with a handful of 3T goodies and this thing probably rolls smooth…more here!

God & Famous | The Grimace.

Posted by: kris

God & Famous caught up with Moe Adams and his too fresh No. 22 Little Wing build. Not too many track machines out there than could come in ahead of this titanium beaut. There’s a whole set up on the G&F blog so be sure to pop over and check how clean that purple is!

Saadl | Amy Danger’s 2006 Pista Concept.

Posted by: kris

It looks like Amy Danger has been updating her Saadl profile with all sorts of the purdy rides she’s owned. The Pista Concept has long been one of the more sought after track frames for taking to the streets and this shot is too primo. Those Zipp shoes might not take too kindly to the cobbles and train track but this one comes together real nice!
