Sleeping Giant

Posted by: Phillip

Many of you who have been around a while know the name Livery Design Gruppe or LDG and the clean aesthetic that partners the company. Theyv’e always had real innovative ideas that they execute with their Frames/components and always come out killer. I took a stroll to Huntington Beach to check in with head mechanic/shop manager Johnny Coward, FGFS ripper extraordinaire to see how things are going and what’s in store for LDG. more after the jump Read More….

Park predator

Posted by: Phillip

With the filming for Stay Strapped being all wrapped up and in the editing room, Matt decided to head out on a skatepark assault. I proclaim him king of transition big or small, and blasting this T-bog bank to bank proves just that. Make sure you get out to San Francisco for the Stay Strapped DVD premier at RedBull Ride n Style, I was around for a good amount of the filming and its all sooooo fucking good, it’ll be worth the trek to see it.

Alley spot’n

Posted by: Phillip

Burbank is a super chill place to reside, and the spots are few and far between. Made the journey from North Hollywood to Burbank (2 whole miles) on Saturday to shred with Cole and Hector at this sketchy alley ledge. Has the worst runway, as well as the most traffic I’ve seen an alley due to the crackin sandwich shop in front of it. You’ll recognize it from Cole’s part 1 and part 2 edits, I snapped a couple of photos of Cole modeling and lacing a smith on this thing, crappy ledge.

Jball wild n the streets

Posted by: Phillip

Riding with jball is always real fun, lots of energy and for being so young he knows how to dish out some sarcasm, my kinda dude. Any spot gets murdered by this guy, park, ledge, rail, fucking parking curb it doesn’t matter, he goes in. With that being said, there was no difference when I asked him to shoot some photos on this chunked up, pegless unfriendly ledge. He delivered, check the photos, make em your background, save em to your phone, show your friends by clicking below

Testing Testing: State Bicycle Black Label.

Posted by: kris

It’s been a while since a fresh bike review popped up on the site so when State asked about giving one of their new Black Label rides a whirl I couldn’t pass it up. These things come delivered to your door mostly assembled with a decent build out of parts to get it rolling. Pop the seat/pedals/bars on, air up the tires and slide the front wheel in and you’re ready to roll. I had the bike on the road in about 25 minutes after checking that everything was tight and dialed in just right. Hit State for their whole lineup and check back for the real deal here in a few weeks. More photos after the jump!

#messlife: Soggy Sacto.

Posted by: kris

Been a wet week or so here in town but no matter because rainy day riding is still mad fun. Ran into the homie Angel today on his newly built up Cinelli Vigorelli. He’s rocking it on the street for a work bike but it’s put together about as proper as can be none the less (more flicks later this week!). Also popped through “China Town” for the the first time in a while today…had to grab a couple pics. More after the click!

PS: Looks like I need a new phone…these are pretty damn grainy.

Bombtrack x Adidas Street Crew.

Posted by: kris

It’s no secret that Adidas has had a hand in urban cycling over the past few years. However, I’d go on on a limb to say this is their best attempt at making a move into the market with this super rad Bombtrack collabo. They went and did up some Divide completes with Adidas branding and custom paint to match the new Street Crew series of bags. These rides are limited to 50 pieces of awesome and can be seen at 32 Adidas locations worldwide. More on Bombtrack!

State Bicycle Co: Video Christmas Catalog.

Posted by: kris

State showing us why video catalogs are always more entertaining than boring pieces of paper. Home Alone parody kills it and is for sure the best thing I’ve seen all day. Hit State for some goods this holiday!
