State has been hard at work curating their new Off-road Division and it’s nothing short of awesome. Branching out from their track roots just a bit their new cyclocross and fat rigs are bound to help you get down and dirty. Of the four new models the Thunderbird is easily my favorite though the Megalith fatty looks like it could be a hell of a ride. Peep the whole line here and check back for some test ride photos once I get my mitts on one!
Well this looks like one of the best damn bike events…ever. Plenty of bike porn and some cruising in this 20 minute recap of Live to Ride‘s first “Fixed Show” event out in Thailand. Wish we had something like this here stateside!
On my way home yesterday I stopped by Pedal Hard and hastily snapped some photos of what might be the nicest Low ever. This beast used to be red before being blacked and hooked up with some of the fanciest track parts on the market. Not the best photos this time around but hopefully the bike makes up for it. Doesn’t get much better than those ENVE wheels and Phil bits!
Dave Beard just upped an old post that slipped under the rug featuring some cool black and whites from Destroy Bikes warehouse. He snapped some good stuff while at the Redwood City bike builders space. Sean and the dudes down there definitely run a rad shop cranking out everything from fixed freestyle frames to track bikes. More on Dave’s spot!
For about 8 months (a lifetime) now Congo has been away living in Montana, and also getting his swoll on Training to be in the military. Ya boy has graduated bootcamp and hes returned back to the motherland, Longbeach. Not wasting anytime to get back on a bike and start up his shred engine, we went on the hunt for spots to knock the rust off. one more after the jump…
I can’t remember the last time a FGFS bike check went up on here so last time I was out with Destroy’ Gnarlos we made it happen. What was supposed to be a day of filming turned into riding around beer hunting after Alex blew a tube. His 2013 Unicorn Killer may look a bit rough around the edges but you can bet it ride a ok. Click through for a handful more of photos and then hit Destroy to see what they’ve been working on…
Many of you who have been around a while know the name Livery Design Gruppe or LDG and the clean aesthetic that partners the company. Theyv’e always had real innovative ideas that they execute with their Frames/components and always come out killer. I took a stroll to Huntington Beach to check in with head mechanic/shop manager Johnny Coward, FGFS ripper extraordinaire to see how things are going and what’s in store for LDG. more after the jumpRead More….
