Some good points from Jereme (expect nothing less) on BHSK in his latest FGFS rant. He talks a bit about the where fixed freestyle is these days and what’s keeping it from really hitting one home. Not sure that posts like this are beneficial to helping grow the sport but I know some people are into reading tidbits like this. Also worth nothing that there’s some good stuff in the comment section worth clicking through. Thanks for the shout out homie!
Here’s another recap flick from the Uproar comp this past weekend. BHSK was there supporting with the media coverage and came back with this bit. For not being able to use the actual park out in Oakland this looks like a pretty decent setup. More on Bomb Hills.
Jereme got his recap of our roadtrip to Vegas for interbike together. Have to say this was one solid group of dudes to travel with and the #2BLOGS1BRAND1DUDETOUR was more than a success. He got a good mix of shenanigans and show stuff in here so sit back and enjoy a look at interbike from the eyes of BHSK. Good shit J!
Tonight the journey begins for myself and three other rad dudes on our way to Interbike. The show being in Vegas can pretty brutal but I’m sure Slurpcult, BHSK and Alex Gonzalez will keep the trip entertaining. I’ll be upping all sorts of stuff over the next four days including stuff throughout each day of the show. Stay tuned for a plethora of good this week!
Since Alex never got around to sharing the Ride and Style photos we had for you definitely hop over to BHSK for some solid photo coverage. He was a bit busy but he upped all his stuff voer the past week or so as which is apparently a lot faster than Gnarlos. Ha. Some good stuff on his spot like the Boothby All Day flair attempt and Antonyo stalling on the Trolly Sub that I liked.
I’ve been playing a bit of catch up from the weekend but am just a bout current. Here’s a couple things I just spotted on vimeo but rather than just posting ’em up why not link to some of the homies who already posted ’em up? Ready go.
San Jose it still a hot bed for fixed freestyle despite people heading out to other parts of the country as of late. Valentin here is proof of that with some dialed bars and 3s. I see a xup bar in there too. Have to say that those loading dock banks are some of my favorite things to ride. Peep this for some San Jo street goodness. BHSK on top of this one.
Over on the dark side of the we at TTv I rolled through this one. Rally with a farewell piece that is as unclear to me as it was to Thieth ha. Some good tech stuff in the mix at some familiar Korea spots. Bars for days and a tuck no wheelie 180 thats sick. As far as I can tell he’s still riding for SFG and YNOT?
I caught this little bit on Destroy over on BHSK a bit ago and have to get it up. I’ve actually been planning a trip similar to this with Alex so this is cool to see this history bit right meow. These dudes are all about the bike life and really know what they’re doing. Peep game. Good stuff Carl.
I’ve mostly left this bike alone since its debut at interbike this year. There’s some obvious problems with the whole deal and J over at BHSK has no problem laying it down. Peep his rant on what he thinks of this…
If you know me you know I’ve played around on both FGFS wheel sizes for some time now. I’ve got a set of both and each has their appeal to me and lately the debates, arguments and all that jazz over wheel size has pretty much gone the way of toeclips and straps. However there has been a resurgence of sorts lately and J decided to write a few memoirs on the history and future of 700s/29ers starting from when there was really only one option. I’ve been working on a comparison piece of the two and this just might get me to finish it up. Click over to BHSK for the first installment!
This is what I was able to grab at the Man Up! jam yesterday put on by _deadwood_ and BHSK. Had a blast watchng everyone and was stoked to be a judge. Everyone who rode went hard and I’d say some of the best tricks of any event went down. All street spots. All sick dope riders. All one damn good day.
