5ONIT : Valentin Racho.

Posted by: kris

I’ve been playing a bit of catch up from the weekend but am just a bout current. Here’s a couple things I just spotted on vimeo but rather than just posting ‘em up why not link to some of the homies who already posted ‘em up? Ready go.

San Jose it still a hot bed for fixed freestyle despite people heading out to other parts of the country as of late. Valentin here is proof of that with some dialed bars and 3s. I see a xup bar in there too. Have to say that those loading dock banks are some of my favorite things to ride. Peep this for some San Jo street goodness. BHSK on top of this one.

Over on the dark side of the we at TTv I rolled through this one. Rally with a farewell piece that is as unclear to me as it was to Thieth ha. Some good tech stuff in the mix at some familiar Korea spots. Bars for days and a tuck no wheelie 180 thats sick. As far as I can tell he’s still riding for SFG and YNOT?

Carl Dolatre: Destroy Bikes.

Posted by: kris

I caught this little bit on Destroy over on BHSK a bit ago and have to get it up. I’ve actually been planning a trip similar to this with Alex so this is cool to see this history bit right meow. These dudes are all about the bike life and really know what they’re doing. Peep game. Good stuff Carl.

BHSK: Pure Fix Rant.

Posted by: kris

I’ve mostly left this bike alone since its debut at interbike this year. There’s some obvious problems with the whole deal and J over at BHSK has no problem laying it down. Peep his rant on what he thinks of this…

BHSK and the 29er Saga.

Posted by: kris

If you know me you know I’ve played around on both FGFS wheel sizes for some time now. I’ve got a set of both and each has their appeal to me and lately the debates, arguments and all that jazz over wheel size has pretty much gone the way of toeclips and straps. However there has been a resurgence of sorts lately and J decided to write a few memoirs on the history and future of 700s/29ers starting from when there was really only one  option. I’ve been working on a comparison piece of the two and this just might get me to finish it up. Click over to BHSK for the first installment!

_deadwood_ Man Up! Coverage.

Posted by: kris

This is what I was able to grab at the Man Up! jam yesterday put on by _deadwood_ and BHSK. Had a blast watchng everyone and was stoked to be a judge. Everyone who rode went hard and I’d say some of the best tricks of any event went down. All street spots. All sick dope riders. All one damn good day.

_deadwood_ Man Up! Flicks.

Posted by: kris

Had such a good time today at Man Up!today in Palo Alto. Met up at the caltrain station about 11 and headed to Stanford to watch so many people get buck. There were heads from sf, stockton, san jose, sacramento (aside from me) and a few other spots around the state. Way too many sick tricks went down to be listed went but trust me…the Destroy dudes made it one hell of a time. Dawson’s bar off the Chrome Van at the end of the day was huge. Everyone who rode the spots threw down. Kids were going harder at this event than ever. I only snapped a few photos because I was in video mode most of the day. Ill get to that tomorrow so in the meantime enjoy these few flicks I managed to get. Huge thanks to Kenny and the Destroy dudes and BHSK for having me be a part of this! Bed time now more tomorrow.

BHSK’s Fiesta Del Suck Part Deux.

Posted by: kris

When any of the blog dudes up a video I have to give it some love. Jereme got some pedal grinders down recently and upped this little flick last night of him having some fun. That trick really does feel cool my man. Destroy frame is looking real nice still!

FGFS Dave Noakes Finally Back On the Bike.

Posted by: kris

Caught this over on BHSK this morning and it’s certainly worth a repost. Dave had some major surgery a few months back and is finally getting back on two wheels for some shreddage. This park looks beyond fun and there’s some cool clips in this one! Digging the little stalls and the spine transfers in there.
