I love taco bell. When Noah sent this over to  me yesterday I was stoked ha. The dudes are running a little contest that could land you a new set of wheels handbuilt by them! You’ve got the rest of the of the month to drop  a photo of your garbage wheels on the Eighthinch Facebook page for a chance to win some Julians or Buellers. I’ve ridden them both to the ground and can tell you that you won’t be disappointed.

Looks like fellow Eighthinch rider Johhny made the jump to 26er Buellers recently. I like watching his edits with his super unique style. Foot jam pivots are pretty rad!

The dudes at Eighthinch have been waiting their shipment of 14mm axles for the Bueller wheelsets for a sec. Rather than just getting those in for yall they went ahead and grabbed hubs for ya too! Now you can swoop some solid 36h hubs for your wheel build and run 10mm female bolts or a true 14mm rear for those grinds. I’ve been on my buellers for about a year now and they’re still solid as ever. Not a single broken axle or stripped bolt. You wont be disappointed…especially at $99 a set!

– 36 hole
– Sealed Bearing hubs
– Fixed/Fixed Rear
– Front and Rear
– Gun Metal Grey
– 100mm front spacing, 120mm rear
– Front and Rear hubs come set up as female axle
– Each hub set includes a 14mm male axle conversion kit for the rear hub
– 300 grams Front, 380 grams Rear (set up with female axles)

These are what I’m rolling on right now and I love them! Haven’t had the slightest issue with them and they feel beastly. Here’s the Eighthinch press release below. You can snag the wheelset or just the hoops!

It’s been a long wait for some of you but our Bueller wheelsets and rims are finally in stock. The rims are double walled and 32mm wide making them perfect for use with a wider tire. We have them available as 26″ and 700c both with 36h drilling and eyelets. A few of our riders have been testing these and they hold up great for freestyle and bike polo. These wheels can handle almost anything you throw at them.

The rims are laced to 36h sealed bearing hubs with 10mm female axles. A 14mm rear axle conversion kit will be included with each wheelset to give you all the pieces you need to mount them in a 14mm dropout. Unfortunately the 14mm conversion kits did not make it in on this order but we are having them rushed in. If you order a set now they will come set up for 10mm dropouts but we will send you the 14mm axle kit free of charge as soon as they arrive. The rims sell for $39.50 each and the wheelsets are $224.50 on Cycling Closeouts. Expect for single hubs to be available once the axle kits arrive. Here is a rundown on the specs:

Rims:
Size – 26″ or 700c
Drilling – 36h w/eyelets
Width – 32mm
Depth – 24.5mm
Weight – 26in/800g 700c/900g

Hubs:
36h drilling
fixed/fixed hub
sealed bearing
120mm rear, 100mm front spacing
10mm female axle with bolts
14mm rear axle conversion kit (includes 14mm axle, bearings, seals, washers and bolts)

Wheelset Weight – 26in/2820g 700c/3060g

I just got my Eighthinch Bueller wheel set a couple days ago and some new Resist tires (thanks to Mark iMiNUSD). I’ve been riding a ton the last couple days and I’m loving both of them! The Buellers feel pretty light and the new hubs are purdy. Gotta make some room in my dropout for the 14 mil this week and I’ll be set. I’m loving the look and these Resist tires and digging the way they ride way more! So nice. Here’s my whip and some flicks of Jeff and my Butcher next to each other…cute.

So I’ve been stoked on these for a bit now and patiently waiting their release. Looks like the first set just arrived in at Eighthinch and holy cow did they come out looking purdy…love the gunmetal. These come with 10mm axles in them (female up front) and a 14mm conversion kit included! I definitely dig that they’re covering all the bases from the get go. No buying a conversion kit later but also offering the option to pick these up with the 10mm and ride them until you’re ready. There’s a little something else to bite into in some of the photos. Stoked on that as well :). These will be coming on the 700c and 26″ Bueller wheelsets that will be rolling out soon enough. A couple more flick on the Eighthinch bloggy.
