Well this is going to be a pretty cool event from the homies at Eighthinch. Their annual Wheel and Sprocket sale is coming up and this year they decided to step up there game and create a rad experience for you. Super cheap deals on completes and conversions plus you can test ride anything they have out there. If you feel like taking it back a bit you can school some peeps on Goldeneye or Mario Cart in the N64 lounge. That alone is sick enough haha. Hit their blog for more!
Lately I’ve been cruising around at night looking for new stuff to ride and finding things other people can hit. Last night my girl and I came across this spot downtown. Not going to say where it is but this rail and rail hop look so fun. Some long exposures to get all artsy.
Eighthinch is stepping up the Black Friday deals this week and instead cutting prices from now till NEXT Friday. Thats like 11 days. These are for sure the lowest prices you’ll see on gear from these dudes with complete Scramblers for $299 and Butcher frames at just under two bills. Peep all the deals below then hit their store here.
Last week I sent out with Alex and Anthony to do my first video bike check. That will be up next week so be on the lookout for that. After shooting the video I started piecing my first V2 production Butcher together. I’ve long been a fan of rattle can paint jobs and have sprayed most of my bikes at some point. Started this one off right with a fresh couple coats of Montana Power Pink and blacked out what components of mine that were other colors. Until the video check is up here’s some flicks of my newest build. Pretty happy with the way it turned out! Click through for a bunch more flicks.
If you’ve been wanting to get your hands on a Butcher but don’t know where to start building it up…grab yourself a complete! Eighthinch does all the work for you and you end up with a pretty sweet ride with some of their best components. Full Eighthinch drivetrain including the new cromo sprockets, 36h Buellers with 14mm rear axles and of course the new V2 Butcher. You won’t be disappointed with how these things roll. Grab one here!
Earlier this week I picked up a District from the nice people at Chrome have already begun putting it to work. Yesterday I decided to see what I could fit into the beast that would be practical for a day of fixed freestyle/blogging. I was pretty stoked as I started packing my goods into the District to find that it can haul a good bit of stuff for such a small bag. There was easily enough room for everything pictured below and then some while keeping a good and comfy fit on my back. Beers, tools, computer, ipod, stickers, lock, pegs and more all tucked away nicely for easy carrying to spots. I’ll be taking with me as sesh stuff in the next month or so to get a feel for how this beast hold up. As far as I can tell, and the photos below show, I wont be needing another bag for cruising around town with any time in the near future. If you want to roll with a District of your own grab onehere! Peep a slew of shots I took of mine yesterday after the jump…
Alrighty…these have been in the works for some time now and I’m way stoked that the Butcher V2s have landed stateside. I’ve ridden and tested this beast for over a year now and mine is still rolling strong! New toptube, 14mm drops and massive tire clearance on these. This is one solid all around bike be it fixed freestyle, polo or just cruising that your getting into. I should be getting a fresh frame here soon so be on the lookout for a full bike check video and some photos. In the meantime hop over to Eighthinch and grab yourself one! If you hop on it now you also get a free Butcher shirt with your order to keep you covered form this summer sun. Annnd be on the lookout for something else from the Eighthinch crew here soon ;).

The time has finally come to snag yourself one of the new Eighthinch Butcher V2s. I’ve been rocking these frames for the past couple years and testing the V2 for almost a year now. The new revised Butcher hasn’t shown me any issues through a winter of working in the rain, a regular beating out hitting spots or games out on the polo court. I’ve run Resist 26×2.25 and 700x 45s on this thing and have seen no signs of fatiguing on the frame. I’ll have a revised bike check up here soon as a send off for my old frame and a welcoming of the production V2s to the market! Get your name on one here!
In case you were wondering what I use on the daily for work. Be it blogging, messengering or doing tricks these are the tools I use. There will be a new video series going up this week called “Sup In Your Bag” or something cheesy like that. Pretty much just short interviews of the Sac messengers and all the shit we carry around…stay tuned if it sounds interesting!
Haven’t done up one of these in a while. New phone means I can get back on it! Here’s some stuff from the past week. My dispatcher with the new sac polo coozies, my Cannondale, my Butcher by the golden goose and my buddy Erik Bell killing it at his show.
