Factory Five upped a new rider profile featuring local shredder RK and his super rare Yongjia track frame. The first track model haling from China for back in the 60’s this oldie was re-built to cruise Shanghai streets. One a national racing machine a proper collection of NOS (that disc!) and modern parts (those Pauls!) make this thing look way too fun to ride. Peep the whole set and a rad little interview on the F5 spot!
The Bangkok Criterium returned for it’s 5th year in 2014 and had to be fun as hell. Bringing together all sorts of cycling from sprints to fixed freestyle with a killer criterium race to cap things off. Definitely one of the better event setups I’ve seen with proper freestyle and crit courses and plenty of stuff happening all around.
I had never seen the guts of Factory 5‘s Shanghai location and hot damn is it a sexy looking shop. Known worldwide for their frames and accessories the brand has also maintained a strong presence on the streets of China’s largest city. Their current digs look as much a design studio as a place to shop some of the finer brands with a beer in hand. With their brand work being done in house the space not only looks rad as hell but looks more than functional! Grabbed a few photo for after the click and there’s a handful more on the Factory 5 flickr…
Been waiting for this one to drop from the FG CN for some time now. So sick to see China with such a good freestyle scene. From thfast skid revert at 3:40 to the tech line a minute later this is a good mix of styles form all the dudes. Dig it…more on The FG CN.
Pretty rare that you get FGFS flicks with this much detail in editing. China’s presence in the scene just keeps growing with stuff like this. Good tricks in the mix too…can’t say enough how cool these spots are.
I posted up a little recap of the KOF race a week or so ago but here’s a dope look from the Engine 11 crew. Looks like an epic adventure to Chine and one hell of an opportunity for the Engine team. Dig the trip footage in the first half and the dudes definitely lay it down on both the velodrome and the asphalt. This edit is pretty fucking killer.
PS: Cool to see Sacramento’s Temple Coffee helping support these guys!
Solid interview with Turf’s Mike Schmitt up on The FG CN. Rad to see a freestyle interview coming out of China. Dig the flick from the post as well…about as Bay Area as it gets. Click here for the whole dealio!
Like I’ve been saying China is where it’s at these days. The FG CN usually drops fixed freestyle stuff but this bit of coverage from the “Keep on Fixed” contest is a cool look at events over yonder. Some nice bikes at the track session that’s for sure.
Gotta like those wheelies in this one out of China. Sliders looking dialed too.
Posted this one up early last month but after seeing some fresh clips of Yawer on TTv today I’m re upping it. Dude is too damn good. Style for days. SERIOUSLY.
