Feeling nostalgic and I post this. Definitely one of the best time of my life. Do this if you can. California > Texas. Ha.
eight dudes trekked across the country in the dead of summer with their bikes? I do. I was just going back and watching these vids from last summer’s Cultur trip and thought that this would be a perfect time to repost them with all the nasty weather keeping us inside. Such a good time. All five of the videos are below…
So with the help of some awesome people (Eighthinch, Dan at Leader and Phil at Cultur…thanks guys!) i built up this beast to ride until the Butchers come in. With my shoulder pretty much healed Ive been bouncing around on it the past week getting used to tricks again…feels quite swell i must say. I noticed while out one day that the Eighthinch hubs are branded now. Never noticed that but thought it pretty cool haha. Anywho, here’s what its made of…be sure to click below to see all the flicks:

Gus threw down some of the sickest stuff on the Cultur trip this summer and this little piece has been a long time coming. Dudes a solid rider and an even better personality. Feebs to nose manny and the pipe ride are real pretty. That ender had me cracking a bit too. Sick stuff Gusmo!
Got a new bike together today! I’ve been pulling parts together from some very supportive people. Stoked to have something to roll on and get back to doing tricks with my shoulder feeling better. Huge thanks to Eighthinch for the frame and parts, Dan at Leader for the fork and bars and Phil of Cultur for the seat, pegs and grips! Full bike check and camera shots to come tomorrow!
Ive been super excited about this book for some time now…and been looking at the preview for it for the past couple of days waiting to post. For me the Cultur road trip i went on in June was by far one of the most fun experiences of my life. Two weeks on the road with rad dudes and bikes, stopping in unfamiliar places to meet with familiar people. It was just an awesome experience. To this day Im so very grateful to those who made it possible, gave us places to sleep and showed us around. Im also stoked that Dave got to take the trip with us and work his ass off documenting it. Every place we stopped he had his camera out trying to get everything he could. Appreciate it man…you’ll be making some money off me for sure!
Preview his book and but it here!
