JBall and his Suck My Cog label hosted one of the first FGFS comps in some time this past weekend. Faces new and old showed up to throw down at Silverado skatepark in Long Beach summer sun. Here’s a few recap flicks from the day…bummed I couldn’t swing this one!
Over the past year Miguel has been pushing the tech limits of fixed freestyle and at last has this bit of fire to share for Anthem Bike Co. JBall caught all the insanity that is likely some of the most technical riding many of us have seen. The last thirty seconds of this are where it gets real dirty and that last nose manual pivot is on another level. Hit SMC for all that is FGFS on the regular…
Portugal’s Pedrojose’ Oliviera seems to be making the rounds on his 24 inch freestyle build as of late. Keeping things fresh with a mix of parks and spot this one from a trip to Riga has some gems in it. I feel like this dude has come a long way since his first videos earlier in the year. FGFS staying strong as dudes progress around the globe!
FOADies at it again this time with a solo bit for Evan Service. These dudes never come up short on cool spots and creative approaches when rolling around their native SLC. Been spending more time throwing tricks lately and that last roller was so good this had to go up!
YoungD just move into the area and met up for a quick lunch time session today. Caught a quick bump to wall on these sketch little alley poppers. Expect more freestyle content from him now that he’s cruising around town!
Michael Penrose looking all grown up in this welcome to Altar bit done up by SMC. Lots of style and some creative use of spots to keep things interesting. Always good to see some fresh freestyle stuff form the dudes down south!
The TURF dudes recently spent the day getting wild at Oakland’s infamous Dragon Park. With plenty of ledges and gaps of all sizes this places is a legit playground for bikes and one of my favorite’s to ride in the East Bay. Some good stuff in the mix but I for sure dig that nose to smith ender most!
The crew at Turf just did a bit of spring cleaning with a new web face and some fresh soft goods in the web store. A couple new tees and the Howl patch are ready to swoop. Pop over to peep the new digs and support a bit of grassroots fixed freestyle!
These Sesh Tapes from Wolfdrawn get better with every volume and this one has to be my favorite. FOADies in the mix with Matt Spencer making for lot of that rad tech jibbing. 180 dropper is a proper ender especially with that pinch
I’ve always preferred the weird stuff in fixed freestyle and this one from FOAD‘s Jackson Bradshaw is as good as it gets. From wild wheelie surfing to all the back wheel finesse it’s safe to say Jackson is the current king of tech. Sit back and let your jaw drop a bit!
