All-City stepping into the garment game proper with their new Cloak of Invincibility. This lightweight packable is the first piece of clothing designed from the ground up in house by the brand. The highly breathable E3 fabric is what really shines on longer rides though you can still shed a few drops with the Get yourself some coverage here!
With California as dry as prune I had my fingers crossed for some rain when my Smoke Shell showed up this week from God & Famous. Like I’d done a rain dance the sky opened up for a bit of a day long drizzle. Played in a few puddles while working to give this bad boy a proper go!

Considering the bath the west coast took the past week it’s easy to see winter is still hanging in there. For the days that aren’t so slippery but just as chilly Cadence has you covered with the Pinehurst wind jacket. Taped zipper up front and proper rear vents to keep the chill out while you breathe. Swoop this bad bot right here!
The crew at The Heavy Pedal is ever expanding their line to feature rad stuff like the Tempest. Centered around a water resistant soft shell this bad boy will keep you warm while making sure you stay crispy. The media pocket will make sure you stay connected while reflective accents keep you safe. It’s been pouring the past couple weeks here in Sacramento so this looks like a must have for the daily grind. Swoop here!
The newest incarnation of Mission Workshop’s Orion is lighter than ever and just as waterproof. Taped seems and pockets galore mean you and all your goods are going to stay as dry as can be. A bit high on the price but you get what you pay for and this thing will definitely fight off the wet weather in any condition. Plus it looks rad. Preorder here!
Bike Minimalism has been upping their media game pretty consistently lately. This well done piece on the Swrve Milwaukee ES jacket they got to review over the winter months is pretty spot on. A guy named Miska, riding a Milwaukee Mishka Bruiser testing the Milwaukee hoodie. Can’t get much more perfect than that.
The weather here in Sac has been odd as of late to say the least. So when Chrome sent out the press release for these bad boys last week I was able to get my hands on a De Haro of my own. I’ve been wanting a new windbreaker that’s a bit more stylish yet just as functional as you’d want out of a light packable piece. Despite a few people saying that it’s too warm here to rock something like this I actually used it the day it showed up. Definitely comfortable and that back pocket came in handy riding around town. Pick one up here!
The De Haro windbreaker from Chrome is looking mighty fine considering the weird spring weather we’ve been having. Breathable to be worn all day but just enough to keep you moving when it’s a bit nipply. Dig that cranberry colorway on these but regardless of the flavor the front pockets and simply styling look legit. It’s packable which is always a bonus when you’re one on the go. I’ve got one on the way so expect a review here soon!
