The road to Salt Lake City for NAHBS was a long one but Angel and I definitely packed in some fun along the way. From firework stands to tricks in the desert, if an opportunity for some rad photos popped up we jumped on it. Here’s a handful of shots from the roadside attractions we stopped at…

Despite some debate on the “Best Track Bike” award it’s no secret that Andrew at LOW can build an amazing track bike. Weld skill as well as paint and geometry certainly put this year’s LOW ahead of the pack. All in all it was no surprise that this bad boy came out on top in the track category. On the low…it doesn’t get much better than this!

Many of our favorite track builders made their way into the show this year in teaming up with other stellar brands. Portland’s Hi-Fi wheels chose the always classy Stanridge stable to show off their wheels this year and the combo was too clutch. Having spent some months  on the 38mm (EP) wheels I can can vouch for how solid their product comes together. Worth noting how well the paint on this bad boy reacts to light as well as the new Vision cranks that seemed to be a staple at this year’s show. Click through for the full gallery!

After getting comfy with their Pioneer 9 hip pack late last year we’ve come to like Portland’s North St. quite a bit. Back at the show this year with their full line we made sure to grab a couple of their new additions to share. The Davis Daypack is one of two new waterproof backpacks ready for riding or climbing just about anywhere. the smaller of the two this thing is perfect for a day out with just the right goods. We managed to bring one of these home so be on the lookout for a full review on the way!

2017’s NAHBS is fast approaching so a look at Tony Spray’s paint technique from last year’s “Best Track Bike” award ismore than welcome. Dead Cyclist catches show that the time going into a project like this is often mind blowing and that the end result makes it well worth it. We’ll be at the year’s NAHBS in Salt Lake City so be on the lookout for coverage next month!
