I hope everyone had a solid new years weekend…i know i did with good friends and plenty of resting. Not too much riding in this but still some good stuff in there. The half cab off the kicker is something ive never seen before.
This has undoubtedly been one of the best years I’ve spent here on Earth. No joke. Haha. There’s been some ups and downs but by far the good times have outweighed the bad. I’ve had the opportunity to travel to places i never really thought i would, met plenty of awesome people and have had some really rad opportunities…all from riding a bike. Crazy to think about but its true. I’d like to thank everyone for reading and supporting the site and my half ass posts throughout the year and all my sponsors and friends that have helped me out, given me a place to stay on trips or just plain made things happen. I am eternally grateful!
You may think this is cheesy but i think it’s entirely fitting haha:
Its been well over a year since my relationship with Eighthinch started and its been nothing but good vibes. Trips, shipping, bikes and parts and plenty of long winded email ramblings back and forth have made this year really exciting. I was stoked to finally meet Noah and James this year at Midwest Mayhem and look forward to seeing them again next year. They’ve been more than accommodating with my stupidity in losing bikes and without them would have spent plenty of hours walking. You guys are great!
Marky Mark was a solid dude the first time i met him. He’s kept me rolling with some solid parts and is always fun to hang with in San Jose. JP is always excited to talk about bikes and sure knows how to have a good time hitting the night life. Haha. Without these guys and the rest of the iMiNUSD family interbike would probably wouldn’t have happened for me and plenty of good friends may not have been met. I’ll see you guys soon…I need to get down there more!
My first time ever in New York, hours after i show up and well before i met up with tour guide John, I’m freaking out. Taking photos for what?! I had no idea what was going on and the DART book was one of the craziest things ever. John’s been kind enough to keep me covered so yall dont have to see my tiddly bits. You should be thanking him too haha. I look forward to keeping things going next year!
Big ups to all my friends helping keep this fixed gear thing moving along:
Corbin at Lucky Lefty’s for letting me DJ my terrible music at the shop and the many long nights out doing stupid things. I guess it helps that you support events too. Haha.
Colby for making fun of me all the time…ego check. Ill stop making Drake references i promise. Ha.
The dudes at Pedal Hard for knowing how to party. Hard. (get it?!)
Phil at Cultur for getting the summer road trip together and all the love. Do your thing dude.
Toro dudes for helping get events in Sac together. Stoked to do more!
If i forgot anyone check me on it…it certainly wasn’t on purpose. Everyone…let’s make 2011 pop off!
