Another messenger added to the God & Famous crew a la New York shredder Johnny Alcantara. The dude is versatile on two wheels and has a proper set of photos up as he hit the street of NYC!

Red Bull Over/Under Official Video.

Posted by: kris

Red Bull upped their official recap from last weekend’s Over/Under Minidrome event in NYC. This is definitely the best look at the raddest Mini event to date with a bit of everything from setup to throwing down. Hoping this thing makes the rounds a bit because I’ll be on the first plane out! Pop over for the full story

Red Bull Over Under.

Posted by: kris

The Red Bull Minidrome is back this year with an even wilder set-up  a la the Over Under. A two story figure 8 replaces the standard oval for what will surely be some wild races (and bails!). You may recognize of the design as similar to the Human Powered Rollercoaster. Some seem to be a bit miffed about it though I’d still like to have a go. If you’re in NYC this Friday roll out for the madness…details here!

God & Famous | Smoke Shell.

Posted by: kris

The days may be heating up but for some weather remains a concern no matter the season. A lightweight shell goes a long way when the sun drops or a few clouds tag along for the ride. Enter the new packable Smoke Shell from the minds at God & Famous. This vented outer wards off the elements while helping you keep your cool. Pop over to check the lookbook before these bad boys are all packed up!

Hiromi: Life of a Bike Messenger.

Posted by: kris

Always into a proper piece on messenger culture and this one with NYC’s Hiromi Bruni nails it. A true to life story of what it’s like to work on your bike from someone out making a living doing just that. Can’t get more real than this…and a look at cruising New York streets is always fresh!

With the big guns out in full force you can bet hometown heroes God & Famous were out catching all the Red Hook action. Taking a different approach to capturing the event this set of images definitely has a very personal feel to it. Hop over for an up close and very personal look at this year’s biggest street track criterium!

Red Hook on CBS.

Posted by: kris

This past weekend hundreds of the fastest hit the streets of Brooklyn for this year’s Red Hook Crit. Each year the premiere track crit seems to grow even landing a spot on CBS Good Morning this time around. Nothing here on results but a good look for people unfamiliar with the race or looking to nerd out a bit because this is just rad!

Father ToUr in NYC.

Posted by: kris

Father Tu has been upping a good deal of city scenes from recent his time in NYC. It’s no easy task snapping people as they pass through crowded city streets especially in the Big Apple. Here’s one of my favorites but be sure to hit his flickr for more!
