Tallinn Bicycle Week 2015.

Posted by: kris

if you’re cycling interests are at all varied (yo!) events like Tallinn Bicycle Week are a cut above the rest. From swinging polo mallets to uphill enduro there’s more than just something for everyone at Estonia’s premiere bike gathering. Quite the trek to Tallinn from the states but looks like a hell of a party…would go!

Felt good to get out and whack the ball around last night with Capitol Bike Polo. First time playing clipless but managed to roll away with only a couple small wounds!

On A Sunday.

Posted by: kris

Just a mellow Sunday at the polo court in Antwerpen. If you haven’t played bike polo or it’s been a bit I suggest getting out to whack the ball bit…I know I’ll be making some time this week!

GoPro: Twin Cities Bike Polo.

Posted by: kris

Twin Cities bike polo showing us why hitting a littke ball around is so damn fun. A tribute to a rad NHL GoPro flick with plenty of moves just as smooth to get you in to mood. Pissing down rain here in the capitol city so I’m off to find some cover and swing the mallet!

The local polo crew plays at a park just a couple blocks from apartment so I have no excuse not to roll out every now and again. Lately I’ve been heading out a bit more and might have to build me up a proper polo rig. Something about a few brews and some bikes to get through the middle of the week! Some photos or video on the way soon for sure…

Trixies to Ladies Army 6!

Posted by: kris

Always up for a little polo love from tim to time especially when it’s something rad like this. The Trixies are a Sacramento based female polo looking to change the face of ladies polo for the better. Right now they’re looking for help getting to this year’s Ladies Army tournament in Toronto to both play and work on their project. You can read about their plans to create a polo guidebook and the perks of helping support on their Indiegogo page. Peep the trailer for Ladies Army 5 below as well.

Weird Pista 36 & 37.

Posted by: kris

Man I can’t remember the last time I saw one of these Weird Pista videos. Keijiro is still entertaining as ever with these short flicks that gives you trick tips, interviews and a look at riding fixed freestyle in Japan. Just posted a couple of the recent bits and hopefully I’ll remember to stay on these more because stuff like this is too rad.

North American Hardcourt Bike Polo Championships 2013.

Posted by: kris

There’s been a bit of coverage popping up from this years NAHBPC. Some of the games can run a little long so I’m always stoked to some good highlight reels. This isn’t from the main event (a couple videos from that coming) but this is pretty well done so worth sharing for sure.

Geekhouse: S&S Polo Bike.

Posted by: kris

I don’t venture over to Geekhouse spot very much but when I do you can bet there’s some rad stuff to be found. They just finished up this S&S coupled polo bike complete with custom paint by Spectrum. If you’re serious about polo (or any urban cycling genre) there’s a good chance you’ll be traveling with your beloved ride all over. Sometimes it’s a hard task to make a portable bike looks fukcing aweesome…but these dude’s did it once again. So sick!
