Back in October the crew at Revolights packed their box truck to the brim with bikes and hit the road. After a layover in Sacramento for the first of two Goldsprint events they were ready for the long haul up to Chrome PDX for the sequel. I was lucky enough to tag along for the festivities and came back with this little number from what was a damn fun trip filled with bikes and beers. Tune in to the friends at Revolights for more and keep an ear to the ground for more fun coming soon…
Back in town and trying to get caught up on things after a rad time on the road with the Revolights crew. Here’s a quick teaser from the trip as I get things sorted here. Check back for something a bit longer later this week!
Pretty stoked to be hitting the road to Portland with Revolights this week! After this weeks races at Low Brau well be packing it in and making the drive up north to Chrome PDX for another round of beers, bikes and a hell of a lot of pedaling. Worth noting that not only are we bringing rad prizes up with us but the races are also a winner takes all cash event. Even if you aren’t planning on racing come by for a few cold ones and some hangs! More info on the event page…
PS: We’ll be hanging around for a couple days and I’d be more than into getting some bike photos and hitting some shops…kick me an email if you have something in mind!
You may recognize Ari from the pages of Pedal Consumption testing products and the like. You may not know that he’s a combat veteran who’s life has been forever changed by cycling. Dude is rad and his story is well worth sharing…super dig this one!
Looks like Massan took a trip up to Portland recently to put in some work for Chrome. He took their Barrage for a ride through a city capped off with 40+ mph decent down Burnside. The actual 3 minute flick premieres on the Chrome site this Friday from 12:00 to 12:03 PST. Judging by the few clips in this trailer I’d say it’s well worth tuning in!
Today was the web premiere of the Pedal Hard NoCoast video over on PC. Got to see this at the premiere here in Sac and definitely liked it. These dudes took on a pretty epic journey for this last year and I know 2014 is going to up the ante. Good shit dudes!
To help promote the fall 2013 Commuter line and give you more than a sneak peek of the goods Levi’s is launching the Go To Work tour. Definitely one of the best urban cycling campaigns I’ve seen complete with free tailoring and tuneups via the mobile Commuter Shop. They’re making 6 stops across the country starting in Portland next week and finishing up cross country in Brooklyn NYC. Everyone loves free stuff plus you get a sneak peek of the new Commuter goods out before they hit the shelves. Well worth making it out if they’re hitting a city near you so get hop to it. Video below for this came out real nice as well. Look for more about Commuter on here soon!
This is a long one from Mon but you know its good! B roll and bails plus a few rad clips mixed in. Slaylors 180 up cab into feeble looks so steezy. Sure we can all relate to smashing you bike into your business lime Ramon did haha. Well worth watching all the way through…good shit dudes! Portland has a solid scene now with the Still Pour dudes that’s for sureee.
