Turf is ready to release their first video come tomorrow and it’s not one to be missed. I had the chance to peep some of the footage a couple weeks back and every part delivers beginning to end. Not going to spoil anything just in SF tomorrow, SJ next weekend or hold you horses til 20th when it hits the web!

The things I would do to be heading on this trip with the Can’t Fool the Youth crew. Zane Meyer set up this epic trip/premiere taking some of FGFS biggest names to Thailnad march 30th to April 8th. The roster of Jonathan Davis, JBall, Steven Jensen, Devon Lawson, Santos, Boothby, Colby Elrick, and  RSK is sure to impress at the CFTY 3 premiere and trick comp. Jason sellers is tagging along as well bring back some images for a Thailand book/DVD combo. Definitely going to be some sick content coming back and even more with Devon and Jensen staying out that way for a whole month. Get it dudes!

Hope everyone is excited to be or see all the cool stuff coming from NAHBS this year. This little premiere has been a long time in the works with a good amount of planning from all parties. It would seem, and I’m damn excited to announce, that the test screening of The Bike Heist for NAHBS is 100% go. If you haven’t seen the trailers or heard of the movie check www.thebikeheist.ca for all the info you need and get to the screening if you’re going to be in town for NAHBS! This is an actual feature film running about 90 minutes and looks to be a solid bike themed comedy. I’ve been following this project since its first blips on the net and am beyond stoked to have gotten it into the event. If you have passes for Friday or Saturday the premiere is free and in the Sacramento Convention Center (same venue as NAHBS) for your convenience! Posted below are the trailers that I posted previously and some links to the sponsors that I’m super grateful for having the support of…we’ll be raffling off some stuff…check it!

Thanks to Jenn for taking some photos this weekend. The event was a ton of fun despite the last minute changes that we had to make. Only a couple kids showed up for the trick comp so that got dropped and insurance issues made it so the fashion show had to be canceled too. Still the alleycat and video premiere went off real good with a nice turnout of old friends and new faces. Stoked that Squirrel and Jeff took first and second respectively. Having the event on Second Saturday meant there was plenty of stuff going on to keep everyone stoked. Thanks to everyone that came out! Here’s a few of the shots from the day…pop to Jenn’s flickr for the rest!

Thanks to everyone who came out to hang and all the sponsors below for making this a great time!

Video premiere’s are always a blast. Be it hanging with friends, bike events or just watching and having some beverages. Interpreting another’s artistic view of cycling is real interesting. I don’t doubt the To Live and Ride In LA premiere is any exception.

Adam, brad and I got out to SF today to hit some spots and check out the Revoked premiere. Had some fun cruising around the city shooting some video…the weather was so nice! The trick comp went off real real good. A ton of people came out and the riding was just insane. 360s down seven stairs, big 180s, nice tech lines, lots of blood and ton broken bikes and parts. Didnt really get many photos but did get some video of the trick comp that should be up soon. Revoked was pretty solid as well…as expected. Huge stairs, lots of grinds and some of the gnarliest falls ive seen. Gus’ black eye was definitely earned. Congos part was probably my favorite…but not by much…everyone had some good stuff. Dont think there was one bronco in there either! Haha. I meant to get some more stuff to put up but i was coaxed into competing and got wrecked real good. A few times. Ha.
