Saadl is a new bike community for sharing and tagging your favorite rides. The site recently went live and already has some mighty nice builds to click through. Whether it’s your daily beater or that primo track bike you built one piece at a time, you now have another outlet to share and connect with cyclists worldwide. Hop over to see what it’s all about…and be sure to credit what you don’t shoot yourself!
Things have been busy over at God & Famous two cool features in the same week. Hard not to double up posts when it’s something a rad as a look at Andrew Low‘s busy headquarters. With projects like the Cadence/Low MK1 Road the brand is growing hand over fist with no signs of slowing down. Gotta love the personality in some of these snaps…and that early pursuit build. Pop over for the full set!
Sunday was the start of this year’s Amgen Tour of California here in Sacramento. Lucky enough for me it starts right on my street so a quick ride down the block and I was able to check the festivities. Though a road race there’s a pretty good mix of bikes and brands out for the day worth checking out. Was more in scoping things out but here’s a few quick ones I managed to get…
Whether you’re a die hard track fan or not sometimes the ol’ cog and lockring aren’t best for the ride at hand. With the Six Fyx kit from Fyxation you can gear up an old track frame or give yourself a few more options on your current rig. The 6 speed cassette and derailleur hanger easily attach to track dropouts while the 120mm hub spacing ensures a proper fit. Throw in another $100 and you can save yourself a wheel build so you’re out shifting in no time. Take a peek at the whole kit here!
Finished up the days runs a bit early yesterday and decided to take advantage of all the heavy machinery buzzing around downtown as of late. Riding around the city center I see these big boys runnin’ most the day to give Sacramento it’s much anticipated facelift. Shot after the click was just good timing…and probably a hell of a trek in that shopping cart!
Brands supporting brands. That’s part of what clothing company Aether seems to be going for with their AETERfocus series. Awesome shots in this one featuring Argonaut Cycles and owner Ben Farver. Take in some views and see what its like form carbon into one clean ass roadie.
In case you were wondering what I use on the daily for work. Be it blogging, messengering or doing tricks these are the tools I use. There will be a new video series going up this week called “Sup In Your Bag” or something cheesy like that. Pretty much just short interviews of the Sac messengers and all the shit we carry around…stay tuned if it sounds interesting!
I’ve been a fan of these old Giant Cadex rides for a while so I don’t think I’d ever do this to one. Just something about the old carbon design and that seatstay bit. Love em. However this is a nicely shot and edit piece of one being stripped down to build a conversion I suppose. Still dig it!
