Sean Martin and Alonso Tal, and Massan were on site with MOBB Atlanta to host this year’s Samurai Hill checkpoint race. A solid turnout and a good deal of maneuvering ATL looks to have made for a proper street battle. Take a peek into what a bike race should look like…we need more of this!
Earlier in the year The Heavy Pedal teamed up with some heavy hitting film companies to create this rad feature for the Axiom. Great clips and you know Sean and Chris Thormann tear it up proper on the streets of LA. Not much better than a ride with a view…pop over for more!
CBNC teamed back up with Endo Customs this season for another rad kit collab. They’ve flipped their original design for a fresh look sported by Mr. Hatblog himself Sean Martin. Pop over to get your pre-order on now!
LA’s race scene is losing one of it’s greats and with it the Lord of Griffith race. To roll out in style Sean Martin organized one last LOG race in the hills down south and it looks like it was a proper send off. Hit Rear Triangle to keep up with Sean’s adventures up here in Oakland!
Sean Martin doing it proper in this one for The Heavy Pedal. Looking good on that Zephyr bouncing around the streets of LA. Last clips was nuts! Swoop the ride here and hit TOLA for more from Sean…
Good piece on the Lord of Griffith race featuring the man himself Sean Martin. Always wonder about the origins of the annual races so this is pretty cool to hear. Sounds like its only getting better…no brakes and back to the roots this year.
Cool flick of TOLA’s Sean Martin rolling around LA on his new whip. He recently started repping The Heavy Pedal and has a sweet Zephyr built up. Promuting like champ…more on Take Over LA.
Spotted these rad shots of Sean Martin‘s new ride on the Tracko flickr. A real clean build of the recently released Heavy Pedal Zephyr and definitely a looker. It’s not up on either of their spots yet so hit the flickr for the whole set for now!
Don’t think I’ve seen this before and it looks like its part of a bigger video project…but I do see some familiar track and freestyle heads in here. Sean Martin and Alonso Tal with some little interviews and Mike Chacon throwing in some tricks. Link me if you know more!
Sean Martin is one busy dude that’s always on the move. Urban Velo caught up with him to talk alleycats in their Alleycat Insight series. Sean’s been super involved in the race scene down in LA through his efforts with TOLA, CBNC and now SGSC. If you want know a bit of the back story to all those acronyms hit the full story here.
“You’re one of those dudes who is entrenched in urban cycling but you aren’t a messenger. Have you ever been?
I certainly am out here in these streets; urban riding is my love and passion and to address the messenger question, once before I became so engrossed in “urban cycling” I worked as messenger for like a month or two many many many years ago in Seattle. The job didn’t last for me at all, I was into other “things” and I wasn’t doing my best in life. I don’t claim to be one, I don’t claim to be an ex-messenger, never was. It was one of those times in a young man’s life when I was bouncing around from job to job and place to place for a brief period. I call it the skateboard years…” (more here)
