When you’ve been in the game as long as a brand like San Marco you’ve got to be doing something right. Their interest in so many types of cycling keeps them current and putting out rad videos like this. All sorts of bikes in here shot real fancy like with everything form bike polo to some rad velodrome shots. Gotta love some proper video production…
If you run pivotals on your FGFS or BMX ride chances are you’ve had them end up ripped to shit. Royal HC has you covered (or recovered) with factory quality fixes for your tired butt cushion. Check a couple of the recent one’s shelled out for some socal riders. Elliott Milner’s inlay cover came out too ill!
There’s something to be said about quality film making and this San Marco branding bit nails it. The style of this definitely grabs your attention and takes you beyond just a quick video about seats made in a warehouse across the Atlantic. Have to mention the variety of bikes in this…safe to say someone put some time into this. More quality at San Marco.
Yes. I still have a ton of photos I haven’t posted from NAHBS haha. Between working, planning some events and working some more I’ve been getting bogged down. NAHBS flicks will be finished up this week so peep what’s left! Here’s some shots of the Brooks stuff that was on display at the show. Lots of colored saddles and accessories on display this year for those trying to get a specific color scheme worked out. The tan leather is pretty classy looking and a nice alternative to the darker brown or black that most people go with when buying Brooks saddles. My favorite was the super dope bag below… wish I ended up with more photos and gotten a closer look at that thing. So fresh!
Chari & Co. got their hands on some re-issues of the vintage Kashimax Handler BMX bits. Always been intrigued by these little guys…would make for some sick toboggan shots. Hahaha. Grab them in store for now and online soon enough!
Something else to look forward to from Eighthinch is their Pivitol seat and seatpost on its way. The seat is a legit Pivitol seat with a wider profile for us fixed freestyle riders. I’ve run a few different Pivitol seats in the past couple years and usually, though I like them, riding around on them for long periods of time definitely does a number on the ol’ bum. Most Pivitols designed for BMX aren’t meant for sitting on really because…well you don’t really sit down much on a 20 inch. Eighthinch went ahead and made this thing a little more butt friendly and made a 27.2 post to go along with it. You can’t see the post in the picture but it certainly does the job. Digging this seat for its grippy sides for hopping and the grooves under the nose (not pictured!) for toboggans and such.
If you’ve been riding fixed for a while you’ve probably seen, ridden or at least heard of Kashimax. I ran an 80’s cushioned Aero for a while and loved it. Chari & Co. upped this nice little promo from Kashimax that has some history, production info and a nice description of the line of saddles they offer. Definitely a cool bit on the brand! Good stuff.
