It’s been some time since I’ve had a track bike built up proper with some nice parts. Late last year I got to talking with Vinny at Unknown and had this SL1 build in process. Months later after gathering parts to keep it legit it’s finally dialed in. Got some sweet deals on the 75’s, wheel build and other parts thanks to Robbie at Pedal Hard. Definitely rides like a dream and is now the go to for those long rides and busy days at work. Full gallery after the jump!
The Unknown SL1 frames hit the web a couple days back. 1″ headtube, reinforced BB and some nice lines make this a pretty rad frame. I snapped a couple quick photos of my SL1 that will finally be getting put together with a little help. Hit Unknown to swoop a Wound Up package deal and check back here for a little build after some final details have been worked out!
Unknown has been on a roll lately dropping some dope new stuff left and right. Hot off the release of the PS1 comes this new beaut complete with a tapered 1″ headtube. The SL1 will be out next month and judging by how solid it looks should be seen rolling the streets not long after. Dig that seafoam on the prototype here but I’m sure the matte black and high polish on the production frames will look just as good. More here!
