Looks like Resist realized they’re ever popular Nomad tires are fit for more than fixed freestyle. I’ve had these in 45c and 2.25 on the 26s…best tires I’ve run! 28s would be perfect for a trick track bike or cruising the city. These things are light and grippy which is just what you want out of a street tire. I’m not sure if I’d want something like this running on my track bike but you can sure bet I’m going to try ’em!
Oh wow! There’s some seriously good deals to be had at the SF Bike Expo from Eighthinch for sure! Like holy sheeet I might have to grab some of this stuff too! $50 splined cranks? 48 hole V1 Julians for just $10?! Some polo mallet deals and a ton of other stuff in there too! Hmmm. Might have to open up myself a little garage bike shop haha.
I was in the process of posting this up an hour ago…before i got sucked into that Google+ business. No longer entertained haha. Always something good from VM! The dudes from VM Project and Seoul Fixed Gear got their hand on some Midas treads. Really curious how these things feel on the street and how well they’d hold up on one of my rides. Neato none the less.
I dont really run tires this small too often, and when i do i run whatever i can find, but i know some people were really stoked for these to come out. Finally the beloved Randonner in a size that wouldnt slow you down when logging some miles. Yesterday Tracko put up a little piece about how the rubber has been holding up for him…this is where he was two days in:
iMiNUSD got in some of the new 25c randos everyone is talking about. Vittoria makes some of the most solid tires out there and this offering is sure to make a lot commuters, hill smashers and long riders happy.
Theyve even got some time in on them already and are felling them. Apparently these are a bit easier to get on than past Randos (ive spent too much time messing with these in the past) and are obviously quicker on the move. I guess the Gan Well is nice too.
