Always up for another Ride + Style edit especially when it’s coming from the Still Pour dudes. Pretty sure they had the best trip to the event driving that behemoth of a van down from Portland. Dig me some road trip videos.

Every major event of the year I looks forward to some coverage from Matt and the Wheel Talk crew. This year he teamed up with Zane and Omar Sebai to bring us probably the best video from the event. It’s got a bit of everything. Bail reel, a bit of track stuff and a super well edited collection of all the dudes throwing down. Dig the section type editing from the comp…made this look real pro. Good shit dudes!

So here’s the little bit Colby put together from that Red Bull RIde and Style practice sesh a couple weekends back. Was a solid day out on the water and gave us a good look at what will be at this years event. Editing on this is pretty damn sick with those bay shots and the close ups. Yesterday I headed down to Pier 19 in SF to meet up with some of the freestyle dudes that will be at this years Red Bull Ride and Style. It was open practice for anyone who will be participating in this years FGFS portion of the event though surprisingly there weren’t many people that made it out. It was a pretty rad setup and right out on the water being that it was inside Pier 19. Bay doors open to…the bay…we rode for a few hours, got a feel for the setups and shot a few things. It was a rad experience to say the least. Before we all rolled out I snapped some flicks of the ramps to share with all the dudes that couldn’t make it out. Being in its third year it seems the event has really stepped up its game. Can’t wait till may 4th. Going to be soooooo sick. Click through for the whole gallery!

I feel like Indonesia is popping off like no other right now. Contest after contest and there’s a bunch of dudes out there killing it. This is a little coverage from the Tangerang trick comp put together by the Alphalabcrew recently. Looks like a damn good time. Someone needs to get a freestyle trip out there again soon!

This is some pretty epic shit right here. No pun intended. Zane put together this piece on one of the sickest fixed comps to go do yet. Right in my backyard, the Epic comp took place last weekend and went off. Dudes from everywhere made their way to Northern California for what turned out to be a damn good comp. I got to judge the event being one of the hosts so it was rad just hanging out with people and cruising the park. This bit below right here is definitely the best coverage from the event there will ever be. At about 10 minutes it has a bit of everything in it from the drive up to the day at the comp and a bunch of extras. SO on point. In fact this is getting the plug on Hypebeast which is good for all this. Props to Zane, the so cal dudes and everyone else that came out and helped make this happen…especially Derek Salvador. Pretty hyped that this is going to be an annual event. I know I’d fail some video song quizzes for sureeee.

For this years installment of the Trickcat I was stoked to have my long time friend Jenn Wong out covering the event for Takeover Tokyo. She’s busy busy like a lot of us so I’ve been patiently waiting for her to drop what I’m considering the “official” photos of the event. Yesterday’s Epic comp was way sick and I’m stoked for it to become a yearly event. Everyone who came out threw down from AMs to Pro. Intermediate kids were all going hard with bars over rails and threes down gaps. The finals for Pro ended up being filled up by Gnarlos, JD, Milner, Santos and Jball for an entertaining finish. I spent the day judging with Gus and Montoya with us naming Jball the winner. Dude came out of the gate hard with stuff like truckdrivers over the hip and bars into pedal feebs. JDs 180 tuck no down the 8 was nuts. Milner was consistent as hell. Boothby and Jakob were killing the rails. In AM Francis took first with stuff like tire grab threes. A little sesh at Mather in the freezing cold followed by some brews back at the Nem Pro spot made for a pretty solid event. Since I was one of the hosts of this and judging I got next to no photos but the few I was able to grab are below…also didn’t have a flash since I wasn’t planning on taking flicks ha.
