So I’m still not feeling too good but I did head to Pedal Hard to hang out for a bit yesterday. While I was there I tossed a set of 26s on the butcher to see what was up. With the 2.15 tires on there I have to admit it felt really good. Don’t think ill be switching over but I definitely can’t hate. You may also notice something else on there…
The day has come that Im sure a bunch of you were waiting for…Butcher pre-orders are now open! These little guys will be shipping the week of February 21st so jump on it! They’re offering complete builds as well…peep more photos and the specs below.
“It’s finally time! Our shipment of Butcher frames are officially on their way and we will start taking pre-orders today. All the frames include a seatpost, seatclamp, integrated headset and mid bottom bracket. Otherwise if you want an all new ride we will be selling them as complete bikes too. Choose your options and have it built to your specifications. We teamed up with Fyxation on this and we’re outfitting all the complete builds with the new 35c Session 700′s. Like the 700×28 sessions, these tires feel a little bigger than 35c and have the quality you would expect out of a Fyxation tire. Below are some pictures and specs. Check out the Butcher page on our site and click the BUY ONLINE tab to place your pre-order.”
I came home to a nice surprise yesterday…my first Eighthinch Butcher. This is production #1 so I was certainly stoked to slap this beast together. After riding two proto versions I was juiced to see that the dropouts had been beefed up and that it will now fit 50c tires! These are phone shots so ill do a full bike check once I get legit photos…and the proto freestyle fork on there. Keep your eyes out for preorders as they will be up REALLY soon!
