For this years installment of the Trickcat I was stoked to have my long time friend Jenn Wong out covering the event for Takeover Tokyo. She’s busy busy like a lot of us so I’ve been patiently waiting for her to drop what I’m considering the “official” photos of the event. She got a good amount of shots of everyone and plenty of candid stuff as well. Hop over to peep the rest of the gallery.
Jakob upped his Trickcat edit last night and there’s some good stuff in the mix…aside from my ugly face of which there is too much of. Chill Power Inn sesh after the comp that a few people got some clips in from as well. Everybody killed it Sunday…especially Jakob. Peep game.
Soooo this past weekend was the Trickcat V2 and I have to say it turned out better than I had thought for sure. Looked like rain for about a week so people had their doubts but in the end a nice crowd of about 40 showed up. Dudes threw down with Santos taking the overall win and Boothby, Madarang, Roque, Gnarlos, Vanotti and Arimoto taking home some spot prizes. I’ve got a bunch of footage to go through and some photos will be on the way as well. Until then here’s a photo from the ride to the first spot and a little “non contest” video done up by fixiefamous. Ups to them for the shout out and for flying across the country to cover all the stuff going down in California right now! Video and photos soon.
Thanks again to all these rad people!
Corbin got a little flier together for next weekends Trickcat here in sac. A lot of good people have said they’ll be there. Sponsors are on their game. Spots will be fun. Best of all you get to cruise around the streets with a bunch of heads riding bikes. Sounds good to me.
Here’s a spot that’s become a bit more popular lately and is a super fun one. Lots of stuff to throw at this, off this, onto this or over it. Dig this one a lot.
Jerome coming through with some quality shots…lots of them. Keep an eye out for some more stuff with us shot by him in the near future!
The action shots i chose below represent the 5 spots we used…but not in their entirety. There was quite a few things at each spot to hit that kept it interesting…and even harder to judge. Ha.
