Another Tuesday down means another Turf Tuesday in the books from Matt and the boys. Cool to see a mix of freestyle and track bikes in this one with the homie Alex Gonzalez making an appearance after the recent move to SF. This is definitely one of the best series going right now!
The tooth over king returns in this new one for Capone Bikes. It’s been a minute since a fresh solo bit from Wonka and this one’s definitely got some fire. Some smooth lines and a couple a brutal bails half way through (that loading dock…oof!). Click it and hit Wheel Talk for more good!
It’s going down in Oakland this weekend with Ed Wonka’s new fixed freestyle jam Harness the Gnarness. Sure to be a mass of freestyle dudes cruising the streets looking to take home some goodies. Looking forward to a good day in the bay…hit the event page for the details!
Matt upped an alternate shot of Wonka and this dipped tooth over from Word is Bond. Have to agree that this has to be Ed’s signature move right here and Say caught this one perfect. Got these down better than anyone!
Been having a hard time keeping up with all the Wheel Talk posts these days. Whether it’s flicks of Jaoa from recent trips to Japan or a 35mm of Ed in last weeks SF fire there’s a ton of good stuff going up. Hit their spot for a bunch more good!
I’d say that Wonka pretty much owns the tooth over when it comes to fixed freestyle. Has to have done it down more rails than anyone and with steeze evident in this shot by Jason Sellers of Forward Bound. Dig the colors on this one. More on Jason’s flickrrr.
Some fresh news and a bit of freestyle history from Wonka in this Dose/Network A interview. Looks like GRIME is officially finished and the team minus one member are venturing into a new startup. Devon Lawson and Anthony Combs are packing and rolling to NYC to help get things going before the launch in August. Sounds legit and other points Ed hits in this are solid too. Good watch.
I’m digging this Streets of Chrome page on Youtube lately. They’ve been dropping some cool media on there and now this Familia piece with all the Chrome sponsored dudes riding NYC. Cards with a cool concept linking the dudes together in this. Ed‘s got a bit 3 in there that is still sick even though this is from a year agooo. Good stuff.
I’ve bee patiently waiting the drop of the new Chrome Fixed Free series and the time has finally come! Brian at Chrome just sent these images and specs of the new jams. It was only a matter of time before someone made some sick FGFS inspired bags and these things came out real nice. First up you’ve got the Delta if you’re into flap tops. These bags are going to be perfect for taking your necessities (tools, water, cameras, etc) with you while hitting spots out on your freestyle ride. Definitely peep the edit below that Colby shot with Wonka and Combs for the Delta. Solid six kink rail from Ed and a huge tuck from Anthony at some San Jo spots. Check the specs and more flicks after the jump then hop over to the Chrome store if you want to snag one of these bad mammas up. Ill be reviewing this beast or the second Fixed Free bag the District (see above post) after I send them through the wringer here in Sac so look for that!
Hit up the Grime spot today and saw this bangin’ rail shot of Ed with a steep double. From the title I’m guessing this went right into a wall making a short stop real necessary. Have to wait til the boys drop the clip!
