oh my.
why have I been seeing so many beautiful builds ruined with risers, well ruined may be a harsh word but still
Because some people actually ride the builds in the street. Don’t get me wrong, nothing looks better than track drops to complete the look but most of the people riding them in the street have their hands sandwiching the stem the whole time rather than the drops. Even people in the track are using them less and less. How about drops for pictures and photo ops but whatever the fuck you want to ride on the bike you paid for in the street?
oh no people can ride whatever they want…im just saying that this thing is so well put together something other than risers could be on there. i much ride anything other than risers myself…
as for on the track…i still see drops as being most predominant…with some TT and bulhorns as well.
i told some kid on a road bike that i liked his campy wheels and he told a bum that i sucked and then tried to fight me after i was across the street. I was not sure how to respond this behavior. Is this how all rich hipster road cyclists are? If so why?
